I got a great idea for ya...if your sick of getting pounded into the ground by a player, agree to alpha turtle and then dont obey the alpha rules anyway like tactoholic!

Hahaha, seriously you are nothing more than a kid, that's all you are gonna say?, Come on explain the whole story.

I beat him constantly on rev which he denies and then we play a game on banff in which I was testing a new turtle...he agrees to alpha then frontlines a tyrant on me like a dickhead.

TACTOHOLIC

This is what happened, we agree to an alpha rules turtle, I didn't know DT cant be front row with alpha rules, he whine about it, then I asked him if he wanted to keep playing the game, he sayed okay. At the end of the game, I had two front hits (scout), he start insulting me for not obeying the rules. Funny isn, it?

Draquist
08-22-2006, 12:06 PM
I did not complain about the front scout shots..and when you asked if we should keep playing I said fine...If you actually expected me to believe you were going to quit you gotta be joking. When you got the 2 front scouts at the end I put nothing but ...

That is why when someone asks you for specific rules you should read the rules over, and make sure your set follows them, thats what I do.

Tacto, it is still your fault.

Learn what Alpha Rules are before you agree to have a game with it.

you were stupid for not even knowing the rules you agreed to. he was dumb for continuing and then getting mad when he lost. unless you wouldnt have surrendered?

He didn't accept my offer cause he thought he could win, then when he noticed he was gonna lose and he goes mad... I didn't make it on purpose, and he's acussing me of being a cheater, I'm glad I took you that couple stats and you feel angry for it.

I was angry since the beginning...Im not as angry that I lost as I am at the fact you used a cheap set. I'll admit the 2 scout fronts made me a little angry also since they basically gave you the game.

Nice touch trying to get people against me by adding in me insulting netjak...I really liked that.

Cuathon
08-22-2006, 12:32 PM
draq this is embarrassing. there was no reason to make a thread on this. you shouldnt have been so overconfident. if you let one negative controlable factor in you cant get mad if more negatives are added. luck is a part of the game and you know that.

if he would have surrendered then you should have agreed. or agreed to let him move th DT back some rows.

He was just pissed, It could have come from stress from other things, that all was let out over this, it happens to me a lot when I have a lot of stress, and work to do.

I was joking about the netjak factor...im friends with many netjakkers. And once again I say that I did not complain about the luck part other than putting ...

Cuathon

eh, if you let his breaking the rule slide, you cant yell at him for it later. i shall remove the netjak part form my previous post.

Draquist
08-22-2006, 12:39 PM
I yelled at him for it in the beginning as well...

This has happened to me soooooo many frickin times! You agree to Alpha Rules, your opponent uses a front row tyrant or an infront-of-cleric stone or something like that and then they say, "oh, i'll surrender if you want." Then I go, no, just play, b'cause I like to use my set on first-time, if they know my set, they can't help but moving a piece or 2 for a slight advantage, so I like to play first time, and then at the end, they get crazy luck and then I start telling them that the game didn't matter b'cause they used front row tyrant or something like that, then they go shout it in the lobby and make me look like a frickin retard, it's very annoying and I can't stand when people can't follow rules, honestly, I can't believe a Netjacker wouldn't know what Alpha Rules are, and it just gets me pissed. ~Smiley Thoughts :)

Cuathon

you could let them surrender. or have them move the unit that is illegaly placed.

TACTOHOLIC
08-22-2006, 12:47 PM
You are right smiley, the only thing is that i wasn't the one shouting in the lobby, he was... The bad attitude isn't mine, is his, I didnt place DT on front row like what the heck I dont know if this can be done or not but w/e, No... I did place it there because I was sure it could be placed there, i thought i knew perfectly alpha.
I dont know if you understand me...

OMG how about this. Have a rematch and ABIDE by alpha rules, and than lets see who wins...I think Draq would Own. :)

I had a dragon front row and you called me a cheater for not using alpha rules, even though we never agreed to any rules.;)

I knew you were joking when you called me a cheater, but I feel like saying this anyway, so I can be a part of this conversation.

Meh, thats why I clarify before I play "no specific game type or rules" ;)

From my point of view, if I make a form that is illegal in the game I agreed to play, I surrender. There's nothing more to it. I don't ask my opponent "do you want to keep playing?" expecting him to believe that I will surrender. I don't see how Draq was in the wrong here, other than making a pretty pointless thread about it. His opponent agreed to play an alpha rules game, that puts the burden on him to actually KNOW the rules. If he does not he should surrender. If he does not surrender, he is in my opinion highly unethical.
