name- harpy
health - 35
strength- 20
armor- 0
blocking- 33%front 16%sides (blocks the same way as the dragon using wings.)
attackpattern- one adjacent square
movement range- teleport 4 spaces (possibly 8)
recovery time - 2 (if you move to attack and it connects you have the choice to retreat harpy immediately before your turn ends. Then you wait 3 turns as opposed to 2. However if you just attack without moving and then retreat like any other unit can the recovery time stays the same.)


give me your thoughts.

Nothing too special about this unit besides its strength. Its ability to retreat after moving and attacking seems a little unfair, because you can move, attack, and then retreat if you know its gonna die next turn.

I suggest making its Retreat ability retreat to the tile it was previously on, because if you just attacked a unit like a Knight this ability can be very helpful, but most other units can easily avoid this.

not really the retreat wouldn't make much of a difference if it was to the previous tile or the normal retreat distance and becuase its recovery time is releatively high and it doesn't have armor this unit turns out being pretty well balanced. and it can only retreat if the attack connects so this unit would likely remain in the back lines and could easily be taken out by a scout. and if the opponent comes in to go on an all out offensive pretty much any unit can be assaulted by this creature

Yeah your right i did copy it from another game but knights and everything else have already been taken in other games too so i guess nothing really can be original any more but i think it would make a cool unit in TAO
