2 Weeks Of D/C !!!

Hi ppl , amid and moderator

Tonight im really mad at TAO because i was d/c in Turtle game VS Firebrand and i was playing on PUNISHER account.... The game had just start we might have play 5 or 6 turns then , when i whent to kill is celric with my scout,everything frosted and i got kik out of the game. I was loosing my mud Golem for is celric so i had hudge adventage on him since he was not in range of my armor and is armor was down too.... Since 2 weeks i get lots of d/c at home and at my work. I cant stay in the lobby the chat just stop or lag then i get kik out. 2 weeks ago i was d/c VS solo... then i decided to stop playing on PUNISHER until i get no more lag. Tonight (THU) i was in the lobby for 30min and everything was ok so i decided to fight Firebrand because he have good stats and i just could not resist the oportunity .... my bad....:( I WHANT MY STATS BACK TO 1724 Im now down to 1713 and i cant risk to play and get d/c again it would be plain stupid. Im in TAO since more then 2 years ... i got d/c in game before but once every one or 2 monts max. But now its incredible im just paying for 3 gold account for NOTHING. Even HA Leader is over 1500 stats and i cant risk to get d/c !!!! Im really bored not to be able to play on my gold its just not me !!! I never cheated , boosted or camp my stats ( like many does up there) . I would like to know when that prob will be fixed pls. Its the same for many of my members no one as never experience that many d/c since last 2 weeks . All i have is PUNISHER and †HA† Leader as gold account both of them too high in stats to risk them by getting d/c .... i pay for enlightened gold too but its not my account... what should i do ?? quit playing ?? start camping ?? .... i still love that game and for me camping my stats is not even a question. Why would they need help just checking there internet connection? You unplug it for 30 secs plug it back in, That should reset your box and should start working fine, i don't think its peoples connections its the servers there laggy, there has not been a server wipe for quite some time now, and you don't have to write in big text we don't need glasses to see what your putting.

There is much more involved than just the customer equipment and the server, I was offering to help them look for any commonality to the problem if it isn’t a readily apparent solution. But really even if I was some dude who didn’t know networks at all you should encourage the user base to be proactive in finding and tracking trouble issues.

I know man but that would be real bad customer service. Im sure its not about my connection caus at home i have DSL so it should be all good for that game but i get d/c anyway. Im slowly loosing interest in this game because of many reasons ... But since i cant play on my gold for 2 weeks thats just too much. Mostly everyone i talk to in GL experience unusuall amount of d/c so its TAO prob. I never complain about d/c stuff before ... always said *shit happen* but im not paying to get d/c 5X every hours im online .

I might not get my stats back but they are not making any more money with me and if i quit TAO i know many golds (20 gold account min.) in HA will do the same. I think ppl should ask for their money back for this mont or at least let TAO know that they are not satisfy with the services they are getting. I would like to get moderator or amid point of view on that d/c stuff going around . 90 % of the ppl i asked said they getting lots of random d/c since 2 weeks.

The same problem is happening on legends, it doesn't depend on your connection. I emailed seed about it, but he is away at the moment and may take time to look into the problem. As of now, certain days is simply impossible to play.

Legends hasn't been laggy for almost a year now. Fps is usually more laggy than legends now that seed is active.
Anyway the disc problem doesn't depend on the wipe.

Stats are over-rated.Stats are the only reason this game means anything. If we didnt have it people would be complaning for it. You might not feel that way. But going by wins losses isnt not fun, trust me.

PSST, if you had read the recenter posts, you would see the majority of lag and dropped packets happen BEFORE the TAO servers.

So wiping them does nothing to improve the connections.

Obviously SOMETHING is wrong on the server end, or tehre would not be so many unique cases with the same issue. The question is, where are the packets getting dropped along the way? step 7 and 8 for me have checked out exactly the same (timeouts) the last 5 traces ive ran. Makes it difficult to determine exactly what is occuring at that particular point.

I'm assuming its the same problem... When I log onto TAO, it completely disconnects me from the internet I get a notification telling me theres problems with my internet, and that I probably have a network cable unplugged... Of course this ONLY happens when logged onto TAO, and never happened before recently. Once I log out, I get my internet back.

We are a cable ISP and we block any default traceroute or ping ICMP packets across our servers. I only brought this up as this may be what powza is experiencing.

Im just tired of the way this game is manage.I have to start back at 750 stats on some new name i like :bigsmile: This is the only way for me to still enjoy this game. I gave up on #1 spot its impossible for me to get there :( I dont whant to camp my stats for monts or years like many ppl does....

When i started in TAO ( 2 years+ ago ) the #1 spot was hold at 1600 stats or so. To get in top 100 it was around 1400 stats..... Now ... 2 or 3 years later.... you need 1860++ to be #1 BUT its still around 1400 stats to get in top 100 .... :bad:

Time to start back at the bottom lol cya :bye:

I noticed on page 6 of this thread jeffery called some 1 stupid. I do realize he's the king of all the post in this game, but if you are so smart WTF is wrong with this gadam game then?

As far as running traceroutes, clearing cookies, all that crap, people are still getting there stats mauled by these disconnects. It is very obvious to me that no1 gives a flying ____ as long as the people keep sending in 5 bux a month.

I say start a gold union and put the power to the people that support this game, quit paying these people's house payments and you'll get some attention.

weee. ive lost over 100 points in 3 weeks due to the d/c now. Hate sounding like a stat whore, but we work HARD for stats over 1400. its annoying when you have to star over again after hours of building them back up again.
