I have a problem. I don't have paypal, and I don't have a credit card. My parents won't pay for it with their paypal account. 5 bucks a month? big deal!! that's not my problem. MY PROBLEM IS PAYMENT!!
a.) I-W-A-N-T-A-G-O-L-D-A-C-C-O-U-N-T. WHAT CAN I DO?!?!
b.) I know that getting hundreds of 5 dollar bills in the mail would be a pain, but most of you'er customers are just like me with no credit card and no paypal, so wouldn't it be more profitable to be able to pay cash by mail!?!?!!??
c.) Why not a pay in advance option? 1 year for 60 bucks, 6 months for 30, etc!! WHY NOT?!?!? It shure beats paying 5 dollars every month!!

A: get a bank account. Sign up on paypal and validate said bank account. Use the bank account to pay for the game. No need for a credit card there. It's good to have a bank account anyway and a good bank will have an account that would work well for you (especialy if you're young).
B: offering every method of payment would make it easier, but it takes time to set that up. If they have any sanity at all they will have a way to accept checks and money orders (Sending plain old money is generaly NOT a good thing), but they'll wait until they ARE ready to take in all that mail. Better to wait than to fumble it up, lose people's money, upgrade the wrong account, ext.
C: Same reason as B. That DEFINATLY needs organization they may not have (remembering who's already payed, who's account needs to be downgraded, ext.). These people cannot afford to mess up on orders so they'll have to wait until they can get it down right.
These are good ideas but it's not just a matter of saying "Ok, let's do it". Would you like to put in $60 then two months later have your account shut down because they lost your record or some such?

Thanks for replying. I see you're point and I must admit, I never thought about it that way - as a small company trying to keep up with demands. anyway, it doesn't matter anymore. I'm notw a gold, as of today. Thanks anyway
