First of all this is not a thread to trade units between players.
I am suggesting that maybe we can set up a trade system where we can use 3 of droppable units to trade for any other droppable unit.
I being playing for a long time and I really like my formation. However i would really like a witch to add to my statigy. However, i keep getting barriar words and pyros.
What i am purposing is that if a player has played enough to win 3 units (maybe none of what he wants) the player can use those units and trade it in for another unit that is more useful.
It shoudl not cause any unblance because all units obtained is still from the normal drop list. Nothing be on normal. I only purpose this as a way to use some of my 5 barriar wards and 3 + pyros :)

I disagree.
Part of what keeps it interesting is that people have to chance into their units. Since you can carry 25 spares and only place 10, people would quickly gain their 3 to trade.
Soon everyone would be sporting the same uber-formation, using their trade-ins to keep up to date and the system would only reward those that spend way too much time online grabbing drops.
The things I really like about this game is the sense of chance, that a person can play once a day or 100 times a day and still be competative vs anyone if their skilled enough. It currently DOES NOT rely on having exactly the right pieces, which definately would change of the randomness of the unit drops was displaced by the ease of unit trading.

For one thing there is no uber formation. There are already people in the game that has all the units they need for any formation. But even with a newbie team ... a person of skill can defeat any team.

then your point is mute, because anyone can win with any set of pieces and there is no need for a mechanism of trading.
HOWEVER, I can promise you that if you allowed piece trading that an uber set up that perhaps only one person has been able to accomplish would soon become the formation de' viguer.
Not that this would work.... but how many people have 8 Witches? Perhaps after a few days of trading units someone discovers that 8 witches and 2 cleric are unbeatable. How long do you think it would take for the masses to use their "trade-in" ability to mirror that strategy?

I have a grey account I practice on vs Golds to test strategies.
I got tired of sitting in a tile as a gold and either getting NO games, or getting people coming in who just exit the second they see a golem.
I do grey vs grey too when there are a lot of lower win people on. The main problem is not pieces it is strategy. Greys almost ALWAYS throw their mages away. They dash in and do their 15 points then get killed by knight/scout combo's before they can regen their turn. And this is vs my GREY account. So it is not like they saw a gold account and went 'wtf, lets get this over fast"
Greys can beat golds.
I beat golds when I was grey and I was beat by a grey on my gold account. Use 3 knights, 2 clerics, and dont send out your mages to die when they only do 15 damage.
