.MinD.s Ultimate Gray set

im pretty new here , what do you guys think of my gray set. right now i got to about 1200 with it on armageddon.

the cleric is one off the back center, i tried to write that but it looked blurry. i think it rules and i barely ever lose to anyone that is under 900 or so.

i think you only have the scout there to protect from the witch shot, which is a terrible idea.i think your chanty should be on the back row or else directly behind your asassin.i think it would get destroyed by a bomb form.

Its got LoS gaps everywhere. A scout could hit the cleric, and even if you barriered it, a pyro or witch could easily take out the BW.

I don't like the look of that scout so far forward. My LW could zap you straight off the bat and you'd nearly be screwed. The witch has limited movement due to the lw being in its face, and again, the MOBILE scout is potentially pinned to his square to prevent cleric witching.

well i like it there becuz in some games i can hit the other guys cleric right away and i made the barrier there so it can barrier the scout if it oves anywhere right away.

zanderx not a lot of ppl use a witch that can hit a cnetral cleric luike your talking about.

im sorry but even though its good and stuff its just to easy for me to get in with myt scout and out plus if you tried to invade my space i'd just paralyze your units with my double enchaty set but all in all its ok

I like the fact that it's an out-of-the-ordinary mid-field turtle, but it still has the basic concept of a corner turtle. The witch and scout are both a little "out there."

That's my other grey set . its a very defensive set and its kinda fun 2 play with. i can also set up my assassin bomb (that thing RULES!!!!!) really quickly if i need to.

cleric can get killed pretty easiler through LOS once again though, ive seen gold turts where theyve had the clic imbetween the stone golem and the frost golem...its too easy to get the cleric in my opinion

catana. if they want to hit my cleric they have to go into my LW or chanty range i think. its a weird set but it workz, trust me.

It's ok, but anyone who has their scout that far up is nuts.

Err, you know, i think about 90% of the good people use a front corner scout, which is actually 1 scout higher :p

As for you, .Mind. , I think that the top set would get eaten alive by scouts. The second one is ehhhh. Looks like it'd get flanked pretty good, but i'm not sure how you play it, so maybe it is effective.

lol...that made me laugh. Make me whatever you think the worst legal form is that has 10 units, and I will beat anyone under 900 (barring new accounts that are actually of good players).

The assassin got great use evn though the bomb wasn't used. it indirectly killed your enchantress. you could either barrier it and save it or lose both your scout and your knight. you chose to save them, so i was able to kill it and then attack your cleric.

and of course id post it here. you were talking smack on me here, and i wanted to let you and everyone no that i'll take on anyone who insults me.

it would've been the scout or the knight, they weren't set to take out both at once.you're right about the either me losing my scout or my chanty though, like i just told punishment that's probably why i lost, i should've chosen the chanty.although you should probably go read back bud, i commented on your first form because it sucked ass, and it does.i never said you suck at the game, and i never said your second form sucks either( which is the form you played me with i believe, and i would've thought you'd use the first form, not that that i'd set up my form to play against yours, i use the same form every game).you lost your temper and started the insulting.

as for the "hazing" thing, lol. i generally neg newcomers to the forums because it's stupid to see someone with a bunch of green boxes and 1 post, i wouldn't do it if i dorpped you more then 10 or 11 points either(enough to bring you to red from when i did it), it had nothing to do with disliking you, in fact i did it in a completely different thread,before this one was made, so i don't see its relevance here.

Lost to dabooz. He made a mistake and shot his own pyro a bit earlier in the game, and my knight didn't block this one time i needed it to >_<

was a good game, he was able to win this time though. maybe a rematch sometime.

he ended with a full scout, 4 knight, and 27 knight :(

Actually, Mithrandir's setup had an Assassin in place of the DMW and the BW is in the second row corner.
