Major Bugs, and why i quit TAO

Hi TAO ppl , amid , moderator.

I decided to quit trying to get #1 in GL for many reasons. Before i kill this account i had to express my concern about this game. I always whanted to get top 3 but i realise a long time ago that it was impossible for me :( My best score was around 1750 but i never was able to pass that because i always end up to loose 1 game to some guys at 1400. I think it make no sence that you loose that much stats ( 10+ ) VS someone top 100 and i get 2 stats only if i win. So basically if i win 20 games VS gold at 1400 and i loose 1 game vs 1400 stats gold im almost back to my original score.

At my level there is only 10 guys around 1700 and only 6 guys over me in stats . I heard that cuathon hold crackclassa so thats 1 less guy to VS ....zzzaacckk LOL thats a big jk... he is at 1700 since i turn gold so there is no way i can play vs him.....allstar is not much online either and he freestyle only ( i suck in free) .... Hm, Let Me Think.... he was under me at 1600 stats ( not sure exat # ) then 1 week later i look at ranking in GL and he is at 1800 flush, I have no idea how he did this but since then is stats never change (camper). I dont understand why he stop play doh. If i was getting from 1700 to 1800 in 1 week that clearly meen i raped GL big time and kill most gold that show up online ( remember you get 2 stats VS 1400 stats gold) . So why stop fighting on Hm, Let Me Think ??? If i was killing everyone like he did in 1 week i would keep on until #1 spot !!! .....
Anyway i dont know Hm, Let Me Think dude and i would like to know how he did that in so short time :dry: .... for the rest crx,carlos22,monkus, i know they are good and old members in TAO but i dont see them much and i cant remember when was the last time i VS them. As for FreshEvaus i see he go up around 10-20 stats every weeks ( normal rate over 1700) but again i dont know him and we never VS before. I wish good luck to everyone who whants to get top 3 (whithout cheating) because you will have to win 20 games in a row before you can afford to loose 1.

Im no business man but i can tell you that TAO will loose a lot of money if nothing is donne. Im sure im not the only one who realise that after 1600-1700 stats its almost impossible to get up in ranking because you never get to fight VS the best and ppl need to have 20 wins for 1 loss. I can understand that ppl retire and stop playing .... but why keep them top 10 ??? This is ridiculous and long time camper ( 1 year+) should get deleted. Im sure TAO would make a lot more money if the top ranking was not hold by ghost account. I still dont understand why thoses guys pay 5$ every monts for something they dont care / use anymore . As for me i will start on some new name because i always disrecpect campers and i dont whant to hold a top 10 spot i dont deserve. This game change a lot ( new units , new rules...ect) so there is no way some guy is still the best if he dont play once every week or monts. And then you wonder why ppl start to cheat and boost their stats up...lol

Heres the calculation i did for a game VS 1450 stats guys VS 1750.
1750 win = 1752
1750 lose = 1736

I wish (tons of) good luck to everyone who still whants to get top 10 as for me i will start back on new account so i give myself a chance to enjoy this game once more.

currently tehre's a system where unused accounts simply drop off the rankings. I find this fair, but not enough. Simply signing on from time to time ensures top placement of these accounts in the rankings. I would say a better method of dealing with this problem is that a certain number of non-clan games (where stats are exchanged) needs to be played each week in order to stay on the rankings.

wow uni... your just the best MOD ever :D I see some of top 10 guys who camp just pop on for 1 min say nothing and...lol there you go for 1 more week:dry: ... But i seriously think that stats are overrated in top 5 . Like i said ... when you get over 1700 you can only play vs 5 or 6 guys over or around your stats level :rolleyes:

Dape your lucky i never was able to get the 10-15 wins for 1 lost game ratio. Even if i was playing only with guys over 1500 i would lose at least 2 or 3 games over 15 i play. Just think about Powza or zoma... they are 1500 but their skills are a lot better then their stats. Anyway i was just fed up of always going up and down around 1730 stats .

I think the real solution would be to make a gold wipe but thats impossible i guess :mad: there is just not enough ppl over 1600 for me to make it top 3 or #1 . :(

People would just go clanless if your going to lose stats to your clan members, why don't you do the inactive rankings everyweek not like every month? Then the high ranked members who don't play can get taken off and give everyone else a fair chance.

Pun, You need training then dude, if your losing 2 or 3 games against 1500+ and your 1700+, its there either better then there stats or you need training in your style.

We could go like Legends, Of course, They could play 750's but its always an option.

Dape i dont know how the guys are in banff but i sure know that i cant win all the time VS guys like powza ... at some point you get a bad game or bad luck or making one bad move in turt game , and thats it your dead .... you know how it is to fight turtle vs the best you cant afford one miss click or bad move :angry: And for me that happen at least once every week lol... I hardly get into 2 battle / day because ppl refuse or there is no one to play with good stats online. Thats basically why im stuck around 1730 stats since monts :angry: :dry:

omg cuath... your funny :bigsmile: tell me when was the last time top 5 changed ??? .... as far i remember the last change was Hm, Let Me Think who got from under 1700 stats to 1800 flush ( in 1 week ) and stop play on is account . Before him ?? it was me who got top 5 . And thats it since 1 year++.... So yea it might be possible to get 1900 but i would need to see it happen first . My game is not as good as it was but when i was at my top i whent to 1750 max.

Anyway IF its possible to get 1900 without cheating (when your around 1700) i dont think many ppl can do it. Maby 5 or 10 guys ?? over thousands of players ??? I think many ppl realise or will realise , like me, that it is virtually impossible to do . Just think about GL ranking man top 3 never change only me and Hm, Let Me Think are new up there since ages. Im sure i will not be the only top guys who will de-gold because of that .

erm, that's not quite what I said. What I *said* was that people would need to play games where stats were exchanged at least once a week to remain in rankings (which can be seen as all games excluding: clan games, draws where stats aren't moved, etc)

In draws stats are removed, If a 1700 draws with a 1200, the 1700 will lose about 9 stats to the 1200, And yes i think the idea of you must play a ranked game lose or win to stay on the ranks, And sorry if i miss-understood you the first time.

I have heard about Multi golds, And i know who has access to each gold on banff so i know if i'm playing the real one or if someone has access to it, You knew SI Leader would of been any of the GL leaders, and you got Cuathon (Who plays on GL the most so it was clearly him)

i realize most draws have stats change hands, but not all. That's why I specifically put "draws where stats don't change".

Another example of my idea would be playing a non-clan game with someone 700 stats below you. No stats are won, meaning it "doesn't count" for staying in rankings.

Larger idea made small: stats must be exchanged.

Umm, your reason for quitting is pretty shitty. Seriously. First off, stats dont mean shit! Second, it is called escalating difficulty! The higher you go, the harder it gets. Derr! And finally, play for fun dummy, not for stats!
