How to pick between scout and Assasin

I read on the Gold info that when you go gold you can get either a scout or an assasin. How do i pick between that? i went all the way to the paypal selection and it does not let you pick anywhere..

You get a scout.

Assassins can be won in unit drops, and scouts cannot. It USED to be just inform the admin when he upgraded your account, but now golds get the scout.

Anyone who chose an assassin over a scout early on, you should be kicking yourself in the head.
