I am SICK of all these noobs who go on an account that isn't theirs (like someone on ~x-backlash~) and insist that they are only allowed to chat , and not play.

If someone gives you access to their account, you can play on it! Thats the point of an account. Maybe I'm wrong, but everyone who does this is a dumbass.

the only leaders i can think of that do that on backlash are funny CK and demon_wings who are not worthy of any clan leadership mainly because there a couple of dumbass's....when XF first came back to army there were Nova, prime, x-treme and a few others that would always play games but now they're either not leaders or dont come on anymore...the only active decent leader i can think of is 007 GOD but he hasnt been on for a while.....bottom line is there stat whoring the leader account

Sorry Puni, but thats all I read. And if Army sucks, dont play on it -- bitching about it won't solve anything. To be honest, I agree with you for the most part. An account shouldn't (in my opinion) be JUST used for chatting by a spacific person(s), but its up to the person paying for that account how they choose to use it.

I would probably feel the same way you do, but I found a way to play the game that suits me perfectly, and nobody can ruin that, wether they decide to play me or not. I use a gold with gray units, and play whoever jumps me for the sake of playing, and not the sake of stats. In addition to that, I joined a clan where I get along with the people in it, and enjoy talking with. And somtimes, I'll just sit in the lobby and chat. Instead of trieing to change everyone in the game to suit you better, try changing the way in which you play the game to suit you better.

I think, that if someone gives you access to their account, they allow you to do as they please with it. You are trusting them with your password, and along with that comes playing of games. If you don't want someone to play, but just lobby whore, then... you're an idiot.

People are forgetting that this is a game, not a chat room. Blabhablhbahbl Lobby is there for chat. Yes, but since it is in the game, the lobby chats MAIN function is to arrange games (turtle, free, etc)

If you're going to use TAO as a chat room, don't. Use MSN. You get cool little smilies too. And Don't have to put up with grey idiots.

If you're going ot use TAO as a game, play who challenges you. Don't not play someone because they have too high or too low of stats. ( I like to play 1000+, because it usually requires some thinking. Too much lower, and I get bored, but if i know a 900 has a 1500 on another server, I'll play them too)

And I know we're not talking about clans but OUTKAST, Pyro Pyrates, and Dragon Fire made it that way. Those clans died, and so did the server.
TDP tried to keep it good, because of Thunder, Codeman, -=Raven=-, and MTM leading it. But it didn't work because of all the lobby whores now in that clan.
I agree, TDP is a very powerful clan. But no one plays, whenever i'm on armageddon all I see is TDP members playing greys. And when they come out of their grey games, I ask them for a game (ON MY GREY) and they say no.

Mmm I agree with puni, Army golds dont play much i rarely see the high stated golds come on and play. And than you get the 750-1300 noob golds who only talk all the time and dont play games at ALL. Its amazing i have moved to play grey on banff for a month or 2. I pop into army and you have greys cybering in the lobby, golds sitting there and talking and WONT PLAY. I beat punishment by 8 the other day check his thread in the army section, yes i decline because i'm either busy with personal problems or i just can't be bothered, I only play 1500+ because i don't want to sit there for 20-25 mins and get 1 stat i rather get 2 in that time rather waste 45-60 mins getting 2, I have my reason for not playing Cuathon.

Why are the two crappier systems from Next-Gen considerably more expensive than the Wii. The Wii is amazing. It's one giant leap toward virtual reality gaming, you can download Mario 64 on it, and you can play Super Smash Brothers Brawl (with Solid Snake, I'll add) online. It doesn't get sweeter than that at $250!
And yet the Xbox 360's current price is $299 or, with a few features thrown in, $399. That's outrageous. So far I know of no noteable games for that system, and it's still a rather large system size-wise.
The Playstation 3's opening price is going to be anywhere between $499 to $599. That's just downright wrong. I mean, I'd only buy the PS3 to play Kingdom Hearts 3. The controller's horrible and generally I don't know of any good games other than KH 3.
So, why are the two more generic system of Next-Gen much more costly than the amazingly high-tech Wii?
And that's my rant.

If someone gives you access to their account, you can play on it! Thats the point of an account. Maybe I'm wrong, but everyone who does this is a dumbass.

I agree with this somewhat. If you have access to an account than you should be allowed to play on it after all you are a co-leader in the clan. So many people back down from good challenges its unbelieveable. I first started my TAO career on Army and I would challenge people way out of my league such as Carlos22 when he was still playing even though I got the crap kicked out of me I learn the most by challenging such players. My philosophy was if I want to become the best I need to play and learn from the best even if meant getting my butt whooped. Alot of people become ranked and will not play a player who is higher ranked than them or they become stat whores. They put the game down for 4 months or longer have lost some skill and are afraid to play again in fear of losing their stats so they just come back and chat or they start a second account. They never return because of the time it takes to get back to being decent even though it takes a couple of weeks to regain the skill you lost. These players live in the past and good old days and logon every 2 weeks and become professional stat whores. The reason I went to GL was to find out if they where really better. In my research I conclude the following. Great Lakes is a really active server probably because simply its the first selection. Army in my opinion is probably the most difficult server one is isn't filled with noobs and stat whores. I believe that one a person begins TAO and selects a server they either choose GL or Army because of the Dragon. Just because it is bad ass looking. That's why there are so many noobs here. Then, you get people like me who decide to stay and eventually overtime become good. These noobs get their ass kicked and become gold because everyone else does. If you log on almost anytime during the day ARMY will have the most golds active almost 90% of the time. Try it if you don't believe me. That's y Army has the most golds and most competition. With the downside it also has the most noobs. Alot of great players have gone through army carlos22, slinger, code, bode, bullcat,tungus,TBK despite accusations, prime, archon, and I could go on and on. Some people will disagree with my selections but I think its a solid list.
