Why when I try to login am i refused connection?

Try restarting whatever it is you use to connect to the internet. Or, just restart your computer.

BTW

You don't need to start a thread here everytime you can't get on to a server. Just wait it out, all problems are solved in a very short span of time.

i have gotten the message "connection refused" many times... i close the window then refresh from the TAO home page and load it back and it usually works...

Also if you timed out the previous time, it's quite possible that the server hasnt cleared your connection yet, because it never received an "end connection" message. in that case, try waiting a minute or 2
