I helped Cliche reach his 1800 status on GL by playing him with one unit on a few occasions. I have proof and have sent it in, yet nothing is happening.

So please people who do not like me tell the mods what a boosting whore i am.

Also, Cliche get off your pedastool cause your nothing but a weak ass nub who cant hack it when he loses.

As I AM a moderator, albeit an extremely inactive and incompetent one, I have to investigate claims of cheating like this.

Rico Suave (AKA FreshEvaus) claims to have proof. You have one chance to revoke that claim before your account is put on the line based on the proof you present. If you can't prove Cliche cheated, it's on you.

You claimed to have proof, yet have not shown it to the people you made these claims to.

Until you prove your case to those here they will continue to think you are probably lying. And proving your case is not making claims against him, but showing these suppsoed screenshots. Either cough them up for all to see, or stop talking.

Anything else you have to say on the matter will make no difference unless you show the proof.

I was at my mother's last night and didn't have access to a computer.

Magician reached 1800 from 1500 in two weeks. What happened there? He played his ass off and didn't cheat.

What are you talking about not being able to see I don't deserve my stats in my playing ability or attitude? You're one of the only people I absolutely hate in this game, and that's how I'll treat you, like I hate you. As far as my skill goes, I have played some of the best and beaten some of the best, I may not be at that skill level any longer, but I used to be one of the best, in my opinion.

Then after I checked the thread I went to my user CP and found a note from blud telling me to check the thread, so I checked it again.

And here I am.

I'm really debating whether or not I should post this proof of Rico's, the logic being that when he brought this into the public, all evidence was eligible to be MADE public, but...

I'll abstain until I get the other mods' input.

Secondly, an AIM convo is not incriminating evidence, and I absolutely refuse to have anyone deleted without incriminating evidence, especially as they go higher up (as the stakes do in fact go up when there is more time committed to that user). 1800's pretty damn high, and you're leveling a claim based on an AIM convo posted on wordpad? How do you expect us to delete on that? More to the point, what happens if you're lying? We delete an 1800 player and respected member of the community because an ex-gamer posted an AIM convo excerpt on wordpad, and it turns out (big surprise) that we're WRONG?

How do we get proof nowdays then, if screenies aim convos and msn can easily be edited by a default program like Paint. An 8 year old can make a fake screenie. So how do we know if someone cheats? I was almost thinking of dignifying Rico's balling lunacy with a thought-out response, until I realized that nobody really cares about what he has to say anyway.

Now, on to Cara. I note that you say you have or had, quote unquote, "proof" that Cliche "played greys" (OMIGOSH OMIGOSH!), and played TeX repeatedly. TeX already rebuffed the latter by saying they were legitimate games, and you know what? I believe him.

You know, I played bottle four times consecutively as doubledown, three in one night, and then I actually quit playing then because I was afraid people would think I'm boosting off doubledown (I got 30 stats from the wins). The next day he played me on doubledown and I lost.

If it weren't for that fourth game, we could be sitting here right now speculating about how I conspired with a netjak member to cheat off doubledown, when in fact all four games were completely innocent and harmless competitions (proof is of course in my losing the fourth). Looks can be absolutely decieving, and with no S/S proof documenting that he cheated with TeX (noticable trends would be amount of games played, transferrence of stats AND time spent in each game; if you have two but the third is contrary, you can often give someone the benefit of the doubt) and TeX himself saying it's wrong you have no case.

In other words: Without proof, you're just fucking in the weeds. What I really want to know is why, after 150 posts that absolutely BUTCHER Rico and his punk ass because he made stupid claims without any proof, you'd come out and say "oh, I KNOW Cliche boosted, but I don't have the proof, oh well"?

Honestly, at this stage of the game, why not just, you know, not say anything at all? As the saying goes, "it's better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than to open it and remove all doubt"...

The mods who discussed this topic weeks ago (which weren't me, since I didn't even read the thread until I saw this one) decided unanimously that the absolute worst we mods could do with that evidence, even if we could believe it was valid, would be knock Cliche's stats down by 100 at most.

No matter what happens, whether this 'proof' holds strong or not, Cliche still stays near the top of the charts, simply because we don't have anything to merit any punishment whatsoever, not to mention a deletion...

Remember that its easyer then what how it looks to make a fake s/s. It could easyly look perfect and looked at as thou it was real. Thats the problem these days. You never know whats real. Beleive nothing that you see and only half of what you hear (I think I may have said that wrong :bigsmile: )

If you magnify a S/S, you can often tell whether or not it's been edited. That was the only way we could tell the difference between a capital I and a lower-case L for quite awhile--the only problem was, even though we could see different spacing when the S/S was zoomed to 400%, we couldn't accurately tell the sequence of Is and Ls that made up a name, mostly because we couldn't figure out how the spaces really worked into the equation... :(

But then there's minor discrepancies in the pixelage when you copy and paste.

If you're one pixel to the left, it'll really show in 4X zoom.

Not just one or two ocassions, multiple ones.

You're wrong in every case except for the Texas' accusation. I played maybe three or four greys on my climb to 1800. I played Texas about three times, every game being legit. I had also played Magician, FreshEvaus, Darkfire Phoenix and many other golds. You know how everyone complains about noone playing on GL, now-a-days? That's what it was like when I played as well.

I played pretty much anyone and everyone that would give me a turtle game.
