Considering walls are made of wood, and you more than likey don't know how to punch correctly, then yeah, you're going to hurt yourself. You could do all sorts of fun things to your hand.

My friend's dad punched a hole through the wall when I was in 1st grade, he broke his wrist, but it was insane! Theres still a 1-foot diameter hole in his bedroom wall.

But I did used to throw darts at my wall. One time I threw a plastic dart and it actually went through my wall.

I think that there's potential to block a punch even without a shield and make it hurt. But games aren't supposed to be just like real life, which is why concepts like "hitpoints", which a martial arts master would probably sneer at, can be allowed.

Not that Fight Night: Round 3 doesn't have its merits. I dunno, I haven't played it.

I shattered 4 knuckles, and broke one finger. Of course, I hit the wall a good dozen times as hard as I could, and it was made of concrete.

My hand swelled up to ballon size for a good couple of days.

Depends heavily on what it's made of. "Wall" is a very loose term.

I have done it a few times, it hurts friggin bad. If you know how to punch it hurts friggin bad. Also Lockers hurt bad. And one more thing, Mantis have you ever tryed to throw a skewer into you ceiling?

I think it's pretty simple... they only get blocked when they don't punch hard enough, so they actually aren't swinging fast enough to get hurt by the shield. Otherwise, the knight wouldn't be fast enough to get that shield in the way

If I were to hit a wall, I would have to be pissed off. I wouldn't notice, or think about the pain in my hand.

Well my opinion is it depends. I have hit my wall before and it being concrete. But when i did hit it i was extremely pissed off, it didn't hurt at the time. but about 5 mins after i realised i had done something, went to doctors and had shattered 2 knuckles xD
