Seriously, I don;t think I have been THIS pissed off (in real life) in years. My blood pressure vein in my arm is up about 1/2 an inch. My head is literally throbbing. This man makes me want to kill him and burn down his house around him.

He is one of my employees. For weeks I have jokingly reffered to him as The Dumbass. But I really think he has 0 common sense.

I am currently dispatchign 3 vehicles. 2 of them are Caddy 6 door limos (we use them as Taxis) and one is a Minivan taxi.
The guy driving the minivan is a complete idiot. If I wasn't short staffed, i seriously want to fire him. Now.

He refuses to understand that ANYTHING he does, I need to know. If a customer is a no show, let me know. If he gets a walkup, let me know. If a customer wants to go to X instead of Y, let me know. Basically, let me know what is happening at all times.

I swear to god, if he gives me ANY lip tonight at closeout, I will have to be finding a new driver....................

I wish it was that easy. The hiring porcess here is somewhat complicated. Even AFTER I hire someone, it takes ~2 weeks to process their paperwork through the state of ohio and the city here. We constantly are trying to hire people, but the job requirements are some of the strictest you'll ever see.

Currently I work around 9 days a week. (seriously. Average work week is ~40 hours over 5 days, I put in around 90 hours)

here's an idea jeff, albeit its probably kinda lame, BUT here it is anyway, you should have HIM put out the help wanted signs, and give him a talking to, that way he knows his jobs at risk, and it might get him to do better, and if he doesn't, then the signs are already posted, and its just one less thing you have to do.
