That's just sick - it made me cringe in my seat. Actually, I think I'm going to be sick.

Anybody who allows themselves to be put through that kind of torture is a damn idiot.

Te first curb stomp is not near as bad as it looks. I have seen (and participated in) many wrestling shows that use similar techniques. The actual bursting of the bulb makes it look huge, but the impact to burst it is minimal.

I've played with light bulbs before. We've copied the lightbulb smashing scene in 40 Year Old Virgin plenty of times. But, never, have we slammed someone in to a lightbulb on the ground. I wouldn't have even done this when I was 15.
The lightbulb is pointless in that video except to make it look huge. The lightbulb isn't what I would be worried about. It is the 4 inch curb behind it. That curb won't move before your skull does.
Idiotic...

Again, that is assuming the kid hit it as hard as they made it seem.
It is not hard at all to make it look like I just slammed my face into a concrete curb, when in relity I barely tapped it. Same goes for walls, chairs, and fists.

Reguarless of if it hurt or not... you have got to be pretty f*cking stupid to attempt this shit.
To me it looks as if his face hit the concrete after it went through the light. It's hard to tell thought.

I can't watch that video because I forget my youtube login info, but there used to be a pretty brutal curbstomp on ebaums. doesn't sound like the same one either, because you guys are talking about lightbulbs and there arent any of those in this video.

The thing the kid gets smashed onto is a flourecent(sp?) lightbulb.

Notice the white flourescent tube on top of the curb. It is what makes the dustcloud and the large noise when the face hits.
Having smashed many many bulbs for... scientific.. reasons, i know it doesn't take much force to make it look like it hurts to smash one.

I never noticed the light bulb before, but his face definately doesn't stop there. He must of lost a couple of teeth or something, he hit the curb hard.

No, really.. it probably didn't hurt all that bad. Aside for the glass, he didn't hit the curb as fast as it would make it appear. Slow down the clip in an editing program and you'll see what actually happens.

He hit it with his forehead. Last time I checked no one keeps teeth in their forehead.
And as Dark just showed, it's called wrestling showmanship...

Retards, all of 'em.

It still must hurt, there's no way you can fake getting kicked onto a curb..o_O He hit him hard, unless they sped it up.

It still hurts! Me, my brother, and my two cousins used to backyard wrestle..we always came out hurting, and bleading. >_<

Not really, actually. There are better things to be doing, believe it or not.
Not to mention productive.

Never said it doesn;t actually hurt. Pro wrestlers themselves get hurt for real quite often. And those hits that look like they hurt usually do.
Just not as much as they make it look like.

There's a GIGANTIC difference between the original and this new video of someone trying to reproduce it. Just look at the motion of the heads and feet alone.
Original: The top kid leans into the bottom, bringing his foot closer to his body, so when he kicks forward, it's pretty direct
Copy: The top kid barely has his foot on the bottom kids back at all
Original: bottom kid's head goes straight down, starting from a close distance, pretty fast - suggesting uncontrolled movement
Copy: bottom kid's head comes up a little first. This suggest he was controlling every aspect of the motion, and the "push" barely moved him at all. Why? Cuz when you're about to purposefully bash your head into something, people have a tendency of pulling it back first.
The speed and force of impact on both are quite different. I think the most notable thing about the original is that the kid who kicks him, has no remorse for it. He's not there to see if the kid is ok, someone else comes running on. The kicker just walks away in a stone-cold manner.
either way it had to hurt
