The centaur would be a combination of the upper body of the knight and the lower body of a horse. He would be armed with a spear or sword(which one??), and would be able to attack one unit in the same fashion as the knight. The Centaur would have increased mobility, probably greater than that of the knight. Here are the stats I was thinking of:
HP: 45
Attack: 24
Armor: 19
+2 Recovery
Movement Range: Four units
Attack Range: Same as knights
Special Abilities: None

to be honest.. this just seems like another horse and then add a knight to it. so, from an orginiality standpoint, this idea sucks. However, from a tactical standpoint it is more interesting because it is like a faster knight and could be used as a strong strike unit (perhaps.. too strong?)
comments: the attack should be more like 20 instead of 24, thats a bit strong. The hp should be a bit higher i think (like 50-55), but the drawback would be that it had 80% blocking front, 30% sides (a horse is not very fast to protect its flanks).

spear is what u should use,
where would his armor come from, if it is a centaur like i know it doesnt have any armor
1. get rid of armor keep 24 dmg
2. get rid of armor and lower attack to at LEAST 21 and add 5 hp
I suggest a lance and a shield, but no armor. Some RPG games allow centaurs to have armor and saddles, but I think it would be better without. I think it should have good blocking ability but, again, no armor.

It should definitely use a spear, a sword wouldn't reach if he was a centaur(they have kinda short arms), Horses can have armored saddles but this unit shouldn't so low armor if any and since it is more agile than a knight i would say decrease the wait time, and the power to 20.
