It is a pyromancer that learned to use lighning instead of fire

It looks like a pyromancer but has a cane with a ball at the end that matches your team color instead of that wooden staff.

Hp: 30
Defense:--
Power: 18, range anywere on feild, 2 tiles summon range *see discription for attack pattern* unblockable
Movement range: 3
Blocking: 30%
Recovery time: 4 turns

to attack you target any unit on the feild. Then you summon a lighning ball in the air (meaning the ball can fly over stuff and cant be shot down). Then at the end of every turn thelighning ball moves 1 tile closer to the targetd unit. It always takes the shortest path to the unit. Evin if the targeted unit moves, it keeps comming. BUT it enters Lighting mage into focus and if focus is broken, the lighning ball disapears. If the lighning ball gets above the targeted unit (remember its flying) it shoots down lighning and does the attack.

Hmmm, I think this is underpowered. It will take far too long to do any real damage with this, and the opponent has too long to break his focus and make the attack useless. Better to just use a GA.

Balancing suggestion: Increase the speed the ball moves at.

i increased ball movment to 2, and movement to three.

Now it beats the Scout in range, with the same attack rate but a delayed strike. How about reducing its recovery? Focus prevents it from using a lower recovery in most situations, and a lower recovery will make it better for defense.

I think this unit is overpowered it can go over anything.

So can the pyromancer and GA. This has disadvantages to each. Focus compensates for the range. Since this is so easily blocked by a well-timed barrier, barrier wards would become more popular if this were used.

Whoa... I just realized... I meant two per turn cycle. Perhaps you should have it always move 2 at the end of the opponent's turn. I mean, one per player-turn is balanced... sorry, "turn" confused me, it can mean two different things.

I like it, does the ball follow the unit as the unit moves? And maybe u should make it a focused attack so the opponent has a chance to get rid of the danger.

How? you can hit it with GA and DSM and pyros and a well aimed scout shot.

that is true but as every1 has said just hit him wit a scout or ga :p to defocus him and get rid if the attack ball thing lol :D

Naw, it's slow, fast, strong and weak with reasonable toughness. :p The attack is balanced, with a delayed attack that offers the opponent plenty of time to prepare or a chance to negate it entirely, depending on whether this unit is in the back or the front. The range is infinite, which balances out the above disadvantages. Both of these are flexibility changes, so it isn't a pair of extremes. Its power is 18 unblockable, which figures to maybe 27 damage blockable on the front lines, but scout-like when attacking the enemy's vulnerable units. That isn't too bad. The toughness is appropriately low for the good flexibility and damage, and the wait time is high in keeping with its mage-ness.

I'm not trying to be mean or anything but, the support groud would not allow somthing that is exactly the same as a pyro to be made. They want you to come up with new units not just change the attack, and the name ;) do you get my point? I have been making units for about 2 months, and I have been told this before in my past to.

So the adivse is basically never copy other unit ideas, start of fresh with your own, think of a name make somthing random like Hoctor xc, and make some cool attacks for it. I just came up with that idea so it's random, thats how you get started just come up with some new random ideas, then people would be a little more interested also it's kind of overpowerd.


All we need is some more bomb sets, I personally hate bomb sets because it takes no skill to run them, it's a cool unit tho I like how you described it but copying some one elces idea, is just way off task start clean and fresh like I said theres a little of my words.

This is nothing like the pyromancer, and it's a pitiful bomb unit. Don't be fooled by the storyline saying it comes from a pyromancer. It's a sniper all over, and a good reason to put a barrier ward in your form. In case you meet one of these, I mean.

i think the power is kinda weak for a long recovery time. Make it like 20 with 3 recovery instead.
