Information:This will be one of the first tournaments to kick off the year of 2007! What better way to celebrate the first weekend of the year than a good TAO tourny? Soo, interested? Then read on....(Please read rules before posting!!)

Round 1
Start date: Friday, January 5th, 2007
End date: Friday, January 12th, 2007

This tournament will be a dropless GREY tournament. Players from all servers are welcome to sign up. It will take place on the Banff server. Sign ups will start at the beginning of December and final brackets/schedule will be posted New Years Day! If you are going away for vacation over winter break, refrain from signing up unless you know you will be able to make it.

Players signing up for this tournament should be regular forum posters. This way, it is easier to contact them, and set up playing times with their opponents. Also if they needed to drop out, a replacement would be easier to find. Also establish what time zone your opponent is running on. That way both players will be able to find a time suitable for play.

A moderator will be notified within the next few weeks. I will try to work out some sort of prize. If not, a three or five month gold membership is always an option.

Screenshots of your opponent surrendering, leaving, or acknowledging his/her loss must be provided at the end of each game. Please do not trash talk, taunt, or intimidate your opponents. We want this to be clean, fun, and enjoyable for everyone!

The first round will begin at the listed date above. I am running on Pacific Time, so if you need to catch me for any reason, be sure to notice the time difference. You are given a week to get your first round matches in. Good luck to you all and hope to see you participate. Stay tuned for more info.

Angelic, give me and Dres a couple more days since we only found out what a couple days ago that we were playing.

I will give you until this Wednesday 01/17/07 11:59 PM

This goes for Ninai/20Point and bob/Puni as well. If the matches have not been played by this time:
Punishment will advance to the next round because bobdagangsta has been inactive for quite some time
20Point Samurai will move on due to the absence of Ninai during the week which the matches were supposed to be played.
No substitutes have been found so I cannot sub an opponent for either of these guys.
If you can sub or know someone who can, please let me know!

Do not play your second round matches until I get all the first round matches done with (*cough* Soda :bigsmile: ). I will set a start date. Thank you!

any results Geoffrey? As for all you others, 2nd round matches can be played starting tomorrow, which is Friday, 1/19/07. I will give you until 11:59 next Sunday 1/28/07, to get these matches in. This gives you more than a week to get your 2nd round matches in. Check to see who your opponents are and contact them and set up a playing time. THanks!

I am in year 12 doing the hardest courses available. I have a job which i work 25 hours a week, was around 60 when i was in holidays. Tomorrow night, i will be up quite late most likely to about 12am MY time. Which is -9:00GMT. I will try and find him. Also if he reads this, i will be on in 5 hours and 30mins. Being 3:00pm my time, which will only be what around 10pm for him.

If he is on i will play him. If not i will wait around for a couple hours. I AM TRYING TO GET THIS GAME DONE. But he has not posted here for a while, so lets hope we get lucky.
