i dont know if this would work but it just popped into my mind the other day-

i think the game's popularity would be increased if lets say once every 1 or 2 months there would be a tournament where you could win any unit, and maybe once every, o i dont know, once in a long time there could be a tournament for a free gold account

They do have tournaments. Just not official ones. Check the General Discussion for new tournaments and their times/rules. There have been several of them recently.

(However, these are player-run tournaments, not official ones).

yeah, i know they have player-run tournaments but im talking about official tournaments with official prizes
