I've played FFT and I like the unit idea... which means they would have to jump if I'm not mistaken... would there be a delay time when they are in the air? I don't really know if that would be overpowered or underpowered. I can't really judge it, lol.

I'm glad you like it. There would be no delay time b/c that wouldn't work in TAO. The lancer would jump and thats why there is no LOS limitation.

I'm not sure if I get the whole 'tile infection' thing, please explain it more thoroughly.

anyway, the lancer is basically weaker than the Scout, and I see no reason why, a gold would replace a second Scout with a lancer, if they had to. Though, I do not get the tile thing still.

The samurai seems a bit over powered, but just a bit, with the blocking percenttage, high HP, and high armor.

What is the Surge's attack range, this will help others consider is it overpowered or not.

Lancer: the lancer is not weaker it has higher armor and no LOS limitation though I might raise the HP

Samauri: It says tile affected meaning tile that gets hit. It has less HP and the same armor as a knight i might bring the armor down some though.

Monk: i think you were talking about the monk when you said surge. Its attack range is the same as a knights.

The monk with it's melee attack, I really like this unit, its kind of like the knight but it's just enough so it's not the same as the knight.

I'm not going to read this, I see no point. In trying to bring ANYTHING copyrighted into this game it is a waste. It wont happen, ever.

You must know surely that no company is going to let out any ideas partially related to their games to a unknown internet game, look at other games which were sued and have been shut down or really restricted on what they can do for it.

But trying to make them over into TAO with the expressed idea of copying them from FFT (essentially stealing FFT and turning TAO into a freeloader's FFT online) is illegal :)
