Beast

[Trick]

Beast, as we know hijm, is tyhe creature mounted my the Beast Rider. I've always thought of what the Beast can do on its own.

Name: Beast
HP: 55
Armor: 16
Power: 20
Range: one space on all sides of itself (can attack diagonal)
Block: 60%, 30% from sides, 0% from back.
Wait: 2 turns, 1 turn if only moves, 1 turn if only attacks.

Special Abilitys:

Venom Bite: The Beast has venom in its teeth that he can release whenever he pleases. If you hold down on the spare of the target you are attacking, Beast will perform a venom bite. Venom is passes into the target poisening it. Normal damage is also done to the target. The poisen is the same as the Poisen Wisp's. This attack is blockable, but the target is poisend regardless. If the target blocks, no damage is done to it, but it is still poisend. This attack takes alot of energy out of the Beast, which add's one more recovery turn to its normal recovery. (if Beast moves and performs a Venom Bite, its wait is now 3 turns instead of 2, but if Beast only attacks its recovery time is now 2 turns instead of 1)


I hope you enjoy this creature. I think it would be really nice if you could seperate the Beast form its rider. I hope you enjoy it :bigsmile: !

Actualy if it were to dismount it would be termed a ROGUE human unit.
I suspect it would have similar stats to an assassin and share a similar role it the game.
Here would be the list of "special abilities this unit would posses
#1 diagonal strike would be a must.
#2 movement would be 4
#3 power would be 19 and he would still have 2 range on attack!
#4 it would be neat if he could also chuck the spear 3 spaces just for flavas sake.

The unit is the beast, not the rider of the beast. Its the animal its riding.

Why would this have more HP then it does when it has the rider?
Why does it have a longer recovery?
If the beast can release the venom when ever it pleases, can it release it while waiting..or even better...during the other person's move?
Can you use the beast with rider while just beast is on the field?

Good/inovative idea...would be much better in a situation such as..the rider dies when the beast rider has 10 or less health, then turns into just the beast(obviously not with health as given here). That would be interesting.

heh maybeh i shud learn to read more carefuly, but props on the suggestion, the beast looks nasty on its own!

maybe 5 movement/no blocking/20 power/1 recovery/40 Hp and 8% armor.

Well, first of all, the beast is more powerful without the weight of the rider weighing him down. it uses its own attacks, not the riders spear, giving it longer recovery. He has to bite somone in order to get the venom in their system, and if you have recovery time you cant attack. Beast is a sperate creature. You think theres only one beast rider in the whole world and theres one beast? Well you can have a beast rider riding a beast, and a differant beast by itself. But i think it would be interest8ing if you can only have one form of beast on the feild and that, it think, is a good idea. Thanks :bigsmile: !
