Is the attack visable to the opponant, or is it like laying a trap?

Does it take 12 when healing or does it take 9?

Can you do this attack while a target is on the square you are attacking?

It wouldn't show where it will attack, but it's only a one turn delay so it shouldn't be that hard.

12.

Yes.

I feel that a melee attck with a range of one for lesser damage would be beneficial for this unit, otherwise it is easy to avoid unless the target is in a wait turn, and considering the recovery time and movement its ability to get to the waiting unit is lacking.

But you can deter an attack for a single turn in a few cases, a low life knight trying to rush a cleric for example, need 2 turns to kill it, and 1 turn might be all the time you need to save your cleric.

True, balanced, it seems as if you have put good thought into this. Good unit.

Well done, Kyir! I like this unit. The only thing I have against it is the ethereal ability - that may as well be armor, and I made an ability called Ethereal a while back (does not block LOS, does not block enemy movement, still can't occupy same tile as another unit though).

But some attacks ignore armor like... stuff

Some attacks ignore armor, and so you try to destroy the whole point of those units? The only units in the game that ignore armor are the cleric and poison wisp, and I would hesitate to call those damage. Also, the reason the poison wisp ignores armor is because poison is so weak, and its poison should reduce everything the SAME.

You removed it! Probably a bit underpowered now, give it that armor we were talking about. ;)

Hm, that's interesting. It's simple and sturdy. Also, that's a clever ability.

I wanted to give this unit the one word honor, but alas only kyir can do that perfectly, that being said this unit is a tad weak now (INCREASE ATTACK RADIUS BY 1) then it's booty popin!
