My unit is a Hunter.
hp-45
attak-17
armor-10
blocking % front-50%
movement-3
wait-2
wait after only movement-1
not focused
My unit uses a gun to attak people 4 spaces away. It can also tame any beast type that come within 2 spaces away from him. When your opponents beast becomes tamed, they cannot use it for an extra turn.
The attack can be blocked by any unit capable of doing so.

Muskets have been around since the fourteenth century.
In fact, the first automatic-firing weapon (E.G. don't have to light it and wait for the fuse to go out, cannon-style) was invented by Da Vinci, LONG time ago.
Muskets are as much a part of the medieval ages as the bow & crossbow.
As for the unit itself, I do have a question--is the taming ability a passive ability, or an active one?
By passive I mean does the unit automatically have +1 turn wait if it moves within 2 spaces of the Hunter, and by active I mean does the Hunter have to use its attack phase to tame the beast.
In the event of Active, is this an addition to the original attack (both will occur if you attack a Beast), or is it a separate ability (you can either do 17 damage or delay recovery on a beast)?

Sorry guys, Im doing my best. You can only perform one of the attacks at a time. Either you can take out 17 damage, or tame the beast, not both at the same time.
dres, its pretty much a human who carries like a rifle type gun and can either shoot 4 spaces away causing 17 damage, or tame a beast 2 spaces away from it. It can only tame 1 beast at a time. (tame a beast- wait 1 extra turn).
Taming a beast, is a extremely useful option. Lets say that a beast is about to attak and kill sumthing, you can tame him and then kill him while he cant move. Although, this doesnt have a paraylzing effect to it, so the beast can still block if capable of.

Alright, this is definitely WoW influenced. First, it's not good to create units that are a counter to a certain type of unit. This is like a berzerker + 1. It adds wait, but it's wait cannot be blocked.
So this,to me, is the bastard of the scout and the berserker.

Saying he can "distract" the beast is more accurate because it only works for only one turn.
I think it's inferior. Wasting a turn to prevent the opponent from moving a particular unit without actually damaging that unit (that's the key) is a terrible move, except in extreme situations. The frost golem is far better for that. Having that attack available is nice, but it doesn't make up for the fact that the rest of this unit is an underpowered scout - lower power, lower range, same wait, lower movement, lower blocking, slightly tougher but not much.
Also, although muskets did exist in the late middle ages, they don't quite fit the medieval fantasy theme.
