Special Abilitys:

The Golden Knight is the exact same as the regular knight except for it does 4 extra damage and its one special ability.

Ralllying Call: The Golden Knight gives +5 Power and +10 Armor to all the peices on its four sides. The Knight than goes into focus, and has a 5 turn wait.

Yeaaaaahhhhhh no. This unit is pretty overpowered. Its mushing a stone golem and a knight together and then adding even more power to it. Tone it down a bit, change the name and maybe the whole unit, to something like a War Chief or something else. I know this isnt constructive because im pretty angry right now, and probably dont make any sense.

Ok think of this

A stone is back row and your GK is second row right infront of stone.

Stone adds 30 def to 5 units (including itself) So you add 30+ armor to lets say DT (thats now 46 armour) now + the 15 (thats 61 armour)

No, the power of each unit is like it for a reason. The same reason why a dragon/ mud golem works so well against a scout, and beast rider/ mud works so well against the cleric. and the reason why dragons have 28 power and witches have 28 health, so on and so forth. I could go forever. The answer is simply........

Read alot of CAU by Kyir and Mithrandir and youll be fine, dont copy the ideas learn from them...

Seed looses more than 5 dollars from this guys. Seed looses much more, because if someone gets hooked like the rest of us, he'll spend a lot more.
You won't stop at 1 player. I looked through your oldest posts. You weren't horribly abused on your first unit. People took it at that, and were generally nice. You start a never ending cycle. Be a man, and end it. And as I read them more and more, I see that you weren't treated poorly. OK, sure, Jefferey was there, in a few posts. But Jeff doesn't usually drop into CAU. Trick, perhaps if this unit counted as 2 units and was powered down (and could be used as a 4th knight) would i consider this unit balanced.

I am not opposed to the idea of a tweaked "special" knight, just the fact this unit can do so much!
Tao is a finely crafted gem, a work of genius, and any slight imbalance in a single unit will throw off the game.

I can't give props on this unit, alter it's stats balance it out more and see where that goes.

I'd expect this from a newbie, but an old pro making a souped-up version of a previous unit? That's bad form. Disregarding for the moment that this complaint applies against the DSM (kind of, its only advantage over the pyro has a cost that is effectively accepted at formation-build time), this unit is automatically overpowered because it is indisputably more powerful than an existing game unit, which is in turn balanced (either by majority vote or by Seed the man in charge, whichever you respect more).

Try again, certainly, but be more careful next time. Although I wouldn't have expected this from you in the first place, I can't believe an old prowould keep makign these mistakes for long.

Trick, even a vet who had never CAU'd before should know the difference between a good unit and a bad one. Perhaps you've never considered the game in any depth, though - I can imagine you being just one more mediocre player for a while, then leaving and coming back. I just assumed you were significant back then.

:D Ok first unit, Rock golem, its like a stone golem but gives 60+ armour!

Sorry, that's the same as having two stone golems. Stoneys are already limited to one; if you could have three, they would make each other invincible. Can a fully drained dragon break focus? If not, you would have three units with an unremovable +90 armor. Unless the opponent used focus to break your focus.

Try again, but follow my first rule: No units may be the same as or better than some corresponding unit in every single stat. And, mention all the stats. Funny that that's my second rule and not my first... it's just so hard to choose between all the very, very important rules.

I got an idea! its called GOD! it has 100 everything unblockable, not armor redusible damagde that adds a 50 turn stun. Plus it has DSM, stoney, furgon, muddy, cleric, wisp and Barrier ward abilaties!

Overpowered is bad. When people say the DSM is overpowered, they are insulting it. I think it was a poor solution to a real problem: that the pyromancer was underpowered.
