I wanted to introduce some of you to a new toy I just found called Gabbly. To be honest, I don't know how new it actually is, or if I'm just behind on the times and this is really silly.

Anyway, I know a lot of people have complained that they can't talk to anyone else outside their clan when playing, or that it would be nice to have an in-TAO chat. Well, through the magic of modern science, we can have both, due to Gabbly.

I'll be on it for a bit, hopefully someone else can come on too and say hi. But yeah, appending the url you want to the end of gabbly.com produces the box, which can be moved and stretched as you please. Keep in mind that you are going through another site to access this one, so you shouldn't give out secure information while using Gabbly. For whatever reason tho, I was able to automatically be signed into TAO after closing the Gabbly box, then re-entering the gabbly-TAO url. Try it, let me know what you think.

I think Realist got on for a bit. I don't know for sure, but the anonymous person said "this isn't as 1337 as IRC", and when I asked if it was Realist a minute later, he left without saying anything else :p


btw, you can use this to talk across servers with anyone who's on TAO at the time ;)

It's like having one massive tri-server lobby, even if you're in game!

If so then just click one of the sqaures next to the close and minimize buttons at the top, you can either press horizontal or veritical dock.

Yours dont work for me, and I don't see any 'litte squares that are vertical and horizontal' I tried resizing my window, and found the chat inside my scrollbar though...

oh and just a tip for anyone that uses it dont close the chat box it will refresh the page and if your in a game it wont be good.:P

When i open yours hooded i don't get a chatbox at all...

'Restore' your window, then grab the right side of it, and shrink it to the left. You might find it in the scroll bar like I did... Its kinda lame but it works if you find it and click Dock.
