Spawned from magma deep beneath the ground, the Olarsh have developed a unit way to survive strong attacks by enemies. However, their skin becomes weak when certain forces penetrate the layer of crispy lava on their bodies. From the outside, the Olarsh seem gruesome and strong, but they're actually quite fragile.

It's without a doubt unique I'll give it that. But that 5 unit health thing I dont believe I ever saw before. I like it, Way to go bro.

Creative, yes.
But I think it may be a little too hard to kill, because you can just keep all your opponents units above 5 HP.

I believe that is the whole point of the unit.

I think its overpowered. Alot.
Think about it.
1] Kill the cleric
2] Reduce all enemies health to around 6, 7, or 8
3] Then slaughter them with Olarsh
4] And if that doesnt work you still have your other units.

Well it's overpowered if you do that, and kudos to you if you kill the cleric and get all the units down to that amount. I think that you deserve an amazing unit if you are able to do all that.

Its overpowered because its its very rare that you ever have a unit that has 5 or less hp, and even rarer that it is in a position to attack the o'larsh at the same time. Its unqiue, yes, but right now its far too powerful.

Considering the weak attack of Olarsh you could do that with this unit alone.

He raises a good point, he's right, also, you could turtle and put this unit in the front row and walk through every unit...still I say nice unit FA.

It's called memorizing the damage calculator and healing at the right time...There is nothing wrong with this unit...

Dont forget step one. If you go for an all out Kill on the cleric and or frost golem you are unstopable with this unit.

No, you're not.
It has one health.
Just implement a strategy with your mud golem.

That is untouchable except for units at or below five health themselves.

Would you like 10 or less health? and down to 8 attack?

I know.
People look :
This unit has one health, even if YOUR cleric is done. All you need to do for greys is implement an assassin bomb, 2 scout back hits and that Olarsh is done.
For golds, all you need to do is ground quake a unit from 3 squares to bring it down lower, its done again.
Not too mention it has no range...So frost golem-ing / Chantying it is perfectly fine...
Edit at F_A :
There's no reason to change it.

Very unique idea. I like it. it would be pretty cool to see a unit just causing hell to your opponent and they attack it and it does no damage.

I like the unit. It's actually well rounded.
You could set up unpenetrable walls with enough of these guys.
You could go after the cleric without any chance of danger other than being paralized.
You could make a set of these guys, surrond enemy units with them, bring the units down to under 25, and DSM the rest to death.
Wether the unit has real practical uses or not, it would only be considerable if we lived in a world with 100's of tao units. Maybe in the far future, i would surly vote it in and that is saying something.
For now its just a curious idea.

If paralyzed it can be damaged.

but then the thing becomes an immediate target and you would have to move it quite skillfully to keep it alive. Almost like a pw. Oh and how many can you have on the field at one time?

Only one since your not allowed to make grey units. And gold units arent included in drops on FPS
Hmmm, good job... I wrote out a huge post on why it was terrible, then I reread and couldn't agree with myself. :D This unit has an interesting gradient between life and death, and it's pretty useless if it can't break into the formation - but like a knight, it's deadly once it breaks in. The opponent needs to save this unit for later and pick off its backup, then kill it with a 9-health unit.
