I decided to make a (Grey Only Server) I was board, so I just came up with this idea. First off you could upgrade on the grey only server, and never be deleted on that server. I will explain my details at the bottom of the page but I wanna review somethings tho. The (Grey Only Sever) does not have any gold drops just plain grey unit drops.



Upgrades

You could upgrade on (The Grey Server) it would be only 15$, just 1 payment. When you upgrade your account turns to a bright grey color. You don't get extra units, but it pervents you from ever geting deleted, thats if you don't break tao rules of such...



Forgot Password?


If you forgot password,or you have been hacked, theres nothing, the support group can do unless you payed for your grey account. The grey accounts you did not pay for, you'll have to just deal with it. I apologize...




Gold Drops And 2 scouts


No, there will be NO DROPS, it's onl a grey server which indicates only grey unit drops. So I don't want people to complain and say I want gold drops, if you don't like it go to legends.

Well first off, this problem would be taken care of sooner or later, just make sure to, have your tao name, on the server you play on, if you upgrade an account that does not exsist, it will never upgrade and we will just get 15$ for free, so keep a sharp eye for that double check your work I suggest.

Yes for the greys who paid, there will be a chatfilter provided to ignore all the other anoying greys that didn't pay, so I know this would be a helpful idea.



How could I make a clan if I'm grey?


If you upgraded your grey you can make a clan, so go ahead and try it, but use your clan very wisely don't copy other clan names, and start some drama fights.

No queueds, so thats good news for alot of you, if your a grey and you just wanna play, this server is perfect for you, think about it aswell, no golds jumping you :).




Why come I seen a guy with gold units and a gold name?


The only people with gold units and gold names, is a MOD, they go to each server and checking up on things, if you play them you will not lose stats, just a heads up not to worrie about them taking your stats.

In lobby chat it goes very slow



In the grey only server, greys will be allowed to talk fast like golds do. Just pelase do not spam like hell, because it's anoying and it's pretty funny to see how much of a no-life you have.


Avatars


I'm not allowing Lightning ward and barrier word to be used for avatars. You have to win a tourny to earn those, that may suck for alot of you but heck it takes skill and you wanna be proud of a avatar that you won in a tourny.



Montly Wipes


Yeah . . . theres monthly wipes, only greys that upgraded to light grey don't get deleted unless they break tao game rules. So I suggest upgrade to light grey so you don't get deleted.






This is just a suggestion and I hope alot of you guys/girls like it I spent alot of work on this idea, atleast 1 hour so enjoy, and any feedbacks - suggestions - comments would be, appreciated.

No, greys don't deserve any support like this because they don't support the game. If anyone wanted their account not to get deleted they could play on Legends for free and make sure to drop in once in a while. Dude seriously, it is not about opinions here. I am just laying down the facts, TAO is a business and it won't make a server just for a bunch of free accounts. You may say "but it costs $15 to have an account forever". That's not a large sum "forever", and again... noone will pay it because they can just go to Legends, where there are actually more benefits to a Free Account. I am not trying to be mean because I am Gold, I would say this if I was grey (I kind am in the game actually), because it is the pure truth. No way around it, this idea will never happen. Never.

What any number of people have to say is irrelevant.

TAO is a business, first and foremost. There is no business sense in creating a grey only server (especially in the above described context), in fact it's a decent incentive to de-gold for a number of people. Why would TAO ruin the setup they have now for the above described system?


More servers doesn't inherently bring in more money, in fact it's quite the opposite except in very specific circumstances.


If nothing else, the "upgraded" greys described above are basically a form of "silver/platinum" accounts. Such concepts have been emphatically rejected and been told that they will never come to fruition.

This may have been said already but the reason that TAO has Revelation (gold only server) is because it's another good thing you get when you go gold. If there is a grey only server the whole purpose is defeated, TAO will never create a grey-only server.

How does it defeat the purpose? They'd still have rev, lose nothing, gain a unique server. Personaly I think this thread is stupid, and it has been suggested before, but generaly a gray server with upgradable to advanced gray is my dream server.

It could even be that they upgrade to gold, but with gray units, for a lesser price then the average gold. It won't be done because it wouldn't make alot of money, due to the fact that the units are the main selling point (And no suggestions are ever concidered by the higher up staff), but I'd love it.
