Why in my mind this game has gone down the toilet.

Hey everyone.. I have no clue if this has been broughten up, and i have already started writing this so i really dont want to search it up to find out if it has.. But for the past several days, i log into tao hoping to play a few games, cause well this game was invented to PLAY.. I realize sitting in the lobby or whatever chatting, making internet friends can be fun, but quite honestly like 1/4 of the tao population actually play.. I am of course just writing this talking about the golds on the game, i am gold too and really dont like fishing for greys as i find them not challenging at all.. Anyone else here have this problem when it comes to finding games, asking everyone only to get a response like " no im tired " or " no im not in the mood ".. Well WHY log into this game if you dont want to play a single game??? If your gonna sit and chat all day, go on msn or another chatsite.. Bring the fun back into this game everybody, you guys can flame this all you want cause i know lots of you are going to read this and go against what i say. But this is just getting lame.

This is said almost every week or every day, and WHICH server do you get on? This won't stop, you can't just kick everyone who doesn't play and if they have more or less than 750, than that means they have played......
Maybe get on legends, or rev, there is good player in both and rev won't always be empty :)

Lol yes, your right i did post this after asking you, but you werent the reason i did, cause i have only played a mod once and i realize you guys have more to do than play games, so this doesnt regard you.. And sorry for bringing it up again guys, there was long pperiod of time i stopped playing, i just recently came back, but it just has gotten worse... And i know there is no way of fixing this, but maybe if people who logged in WOULD play this wouldnt be a problem.. And for the people who dont wanna play, maybe just log out?

tao game... and why is it ridiculous, its true... i literally sit in lobby, ask EVERY single gold in there for a game.. all of them say " im about to leave " or " i cant ", then i leave for maybe like 20 mins or so, log back in and the same people i asked for game, are still there, saying the exact same excuses when i go to ask them again..

1) You make elementary spelling/grammar errors.
2) You don't participate in actions you would insult any new member for not participating in(searching before making a thread).
3) You generalize all greys as having no skill, when you have probably never ventured into a Gold Jumpers game in Great Lakes.
4) You complain about a problem which you don't have a valid solution for.

You honestly want the people that spend most of their time on TAO in the lobby to log off and go on "msn or another chatsite"...? Then there would simply be less people in the lobby. This wouldn't help you get games in any way whatsoever. At least these people play every once in a while, if they never logged in to chat then you would never get to play them at all.

In total disgust for the nature of this problem, I'm going to protest by refusing all games over the next week and sitting almost non-stop in the lobby. I'll be discussing the nature of this issue, as well as other sidebar topics, with anyone interested.



I hope we can all learn a lot by doing similar protests. Remember, only by fighting it can we hope to overcome such adverse conditions in the TAO community!

Alot of people see friends online that they want to have discussions with. If you see them say no, it's probably because they're having fun talking to their friends. I see that as understandable.

And don't say "they can talk in-clan" because a ton of my friends are not in the same clan as me.

If you want a game, ask. If everyone says no, look on rev maybe. Usually there is one person who wants to play.

If I still can't find one, I ask people on aim / msn. I usually get one that way. Punishment, for example, is almost always willing to play.

Your problem is that you have too much of an advantage when you play against greys because you have gold units? Well why dont you just take out the gold units and you wont have to challenge a gold - youll be on equal footing with almost all of the grey players in the lobby. After that, if you still think you end up playing nothing but incompetent people, take out one unit from your formation. Not enough challenge is just a silly excuse to complain about people talking in the lobby.
