I was sitting here hungry thinking about when I was in college. My grandma felt sorry for me being too poor to eat out all the time so she gave me some recepies that are fast, cheap, and all are for the microwave.
I know there are a lot of college kids that visit here so I thought I would share my knowledge. If you have more please post them... I for one am always looking for different recepies.

For those of you who like ramen, but perhaps realize it has pretty crappy nutrition, try some of the following:
Add an egg (my favorite) - if scrambling it in the pot, add at the 1 minute mark. if leaving whole, add with the noodles.
Add a slice of bacon or taylor ham - the meat will lose most of its flavor, but the soup will gain it.
Add veggies! mushrooms, scallion, spinach!
mix and match!

uniquin soup (tastes like french-onion):
perfect when your dining center has a salad bar and you don't like their dinner choices
This is amazing - I didn't know till I invented it
-Fill a bowl with sliced fresh white mushrooms (no canned stuff).
-Add a few slices of white or red onion
-Add garlic, garlic salt, pepper, onion powder, or any other flavoring you like, for taste (try to mix this in if you can)
-Completely cover in grated mozzerrella cheese. You shouldn't be able to really see anything under it - I mean fully covered
-microwave until all the cheese is totally melted (~2-4 minutes)
-Enjoy! (careful, it will be very hot!)
Where does the "soup" come from? Good question! Despite mushrooms being dry, they actually hold a ton of liquid. Cooking them generally allows for the release of that liquid, and really brings out the flavor of the mushroom. Friends who have fallen in love with my soup creation generally go on to add their own veggies for flavoring (such as spinache, cucumber, etc).

Spaghetti with Mushrooms in Vodka Sauce
Seems hard, yes? WRONG!
-cook pasta according to box (1/2 box per person is more then enough) in a medium pot. literally as easy as boiling water and setting a timer
-go to the store, pick up a bottle of Vodka Sauce (yes, it's just as good like that - yes, it will make your food taste amazing)
-drain pasta and set aside
-add 1/3 the jar of vodka sauce on medium to low heat in the same pot the pasta was made in
-add small can of mushrooms after draining (no wait time)
-simmer to rolling bubbles
Optional: add a splash of milk, a pad of butter, and/or some grated cheese.
-throw your pasta BACK into the pot, and mix until coated in deliciousness.

Dumpling Party!
This is awesome! And so easy! Go to your local asian market (bringing an asian friend helps if you're a noob). Go to their freezer section, and pick out a good package of dumplings or two. The contents of the dumpling should be in English at the top of the package. IF YOU DONT KNOW WHATS INSIDE, DONT GET IT. Ensure it looks like a standard name brand package (as opposed to a plastic bag with a twisty tie and no label). You really can't go wrong.
-Boil water in medium pot
-Throw in dumplings
-Wait till they float
-Drain
-DUMPLING PARTY!
Sauce:
-lots of soy sauce on the side. Adding scallion, ginger, and sesame oil (very small amount of this last one) makes it extra delicious.

This is as easy as you get....
Package of Egg Noodles - cook and drain
Can or two of Cream of Chicken Noodle soup - depends on how big your package of noodles was and personal preference - I like two cans - open and throw into pot of noodles
Can of Chicken Meat or Two - also personal preference - open drain and throw into pot of noodles and soup
Stir, mix well, salt and pepper to taste and eat...YUM!!!

My dad tells me to do that all the time...That, and add cheese. Iduno..I've never tried it, maybe I should.
Bologna and cheese = <3
I have a rule about Bologna...It must be fried(well done) with cheese, lil mustard on white bread....same rule applies to Spam.
Best Bologna is Boars Head....cut to slice thick about 1/8 inch or two regular slices thick
