I suggest reading the other complaints/whines/suggestions about this very topic, and then I suggest you all have an epiphany that TAO DOESN'T GIVE A CRAP.
It makes money as is, no work needed, no additional time needed, no additional money of getting adequate forum hosting needed.

Exactly, suggesting they fix it is okay. It isn't a bug and jeff = truth.

Actually for me, the forums have been a lot better than around when Snork posted the same exact thing.

I figured out what it is exactly, during this crash. As Jeffery said, it is because of the MySQL connection. I figured out that the MySQL server actually crashes, reboots.

Which it does a lot, because TP puts too much load on their SQL server with shared hosting accounts....

Yea, it would appear that all of The Planet uses the same SQL server. Horrible flaw, I wonder if Bills wanted to if he could set up the SQL on the local server, if he has root access that is.

Problem is that the forums and the game are hosted separately.
The game servers are on uVault, and the forum,s at ThePlanet.
He wimply needs to transfer the forums to a better host.

Nah, seriously. I'm curious ... how can you figure out that the SQL server crashes and reboots?
If i understand you correct, you're saying that the SQL and application server are two different machines and that the SQL server is shared among different TP users. But if that's correct, then
1) the problem should be fixed by now because a crash would affect a lot of TP customers
2) tacticsarena.com-pages without database connections should work during the forum lag/downtime, which is not the case in my opinion (but i never checked)

lol, it actually increases the server load by about 50%

The page that comes up when it crashes told me, actually. You gotta view the source and it has alot of information in the html brackets hidden.

#1 is correct, but TP just doesn't care.
#2 is correct, but the tao pages do work during a forum crash
