....How about making it possible to create or join a public group? If you click on ANYONE's name on these forums it always says "____ is not part of any public groups." I've asked a lot of people who've been here for a while, and they have no idea how to join one. Perhaps there could be various features and advantages through being in a public group... If this can't be fixed then I suggest the box stating the person is no part of any public groups be removed. Just a little thing that's been annoying me for two years or so..

No... I just thought since they have that box saying a person is not a member of any public groups.... it should have a purpose. Since there are no public groups, there is no point in having it. Just thought it would make these forums a little more interesting. I hate myspace.

EDIT: Congrats on 9k. :)

Oh, no, no, no. That means they're part of some actual group or organization, like I'm in the boy scouts. You can't join them by clicking a link.

Not really practical sir. It is however a need in some forums.

Note that we have tried that on legends, making silly groups like "Squirrel Squad", and "Lobster group"

Sad to say it did not work out...

Congrats on 9000!

I think it would be cool to make groups.

Ya, vB has that option with it. But I don't think it would work out to well. Nice idea though.

They are popular at first then they go boring.

Mmmm... well I was leaning to more permanent groups like clans... but of coarse the immature groups would reign for the beginning.
