The Clash of the Giants!

Gather around people as you see the best clans play head to head against one another in grey dropless matches to see who will rein supreme as the Clan with the best greys!

This has long been awaited for a tourney like this to happen it is finally here!

Description: Each clan has 3 players who were selected by their clans leaders to represent their clan in this amazing tourney. They will play off in a elimination style. Look at the example below to get what i mean.

They now play each other not as a tag team but as 3 elimnation matches.

Eg. Inuyasha vs Bottle- Inu wins by 7 units. s/s provided.
Koala vs Allstar- Koala Wins by 3 units. s/s provided.
Soda vs Twelve- 1st Match is drawn, Rematch Soda loses to twelve by 4
units.

Team SI has won their first round clash against NJ. And therefore advances to the next round.

Rules: Dropless grey rules, players can arrange sides if they wish before hand. If someone uses drops take a screenshot, and their whole team will be disqualified immediately.

Draws: All draws are to be s/s with "Draw Game" in it, they will be replayed.

DC's: If a dc happens, take a screenshot of the last point in the match available and than post it in here with units health etc. If the person who dc'd was going to win and we all know it they WILL be given the win. If the person who did not dc was in the winning position THEY will win. If the match is close i want it replayed, you can either replay it from the point of dc or replay the whole match.

Innactivity: If people are inactive and do not reply to pm's post your pm here and i will contact them, if i think they are innactive enough they will lose the match they were supposed to play. If BOTH Players are innactive they match will result in a no results, thus leaving the other 2 team members to play it out. If this happens and it results in a 1-1 descision the innactive people will be given another chance if they do not meet the deadline the other 2 matches will be replayer. I DO NOT WANT THIS TO HAPPEN! These rules for dc's may be changed.

My descision is final any bitching and moaning about it will recieve an automatic loss and maybe a team being DQ.

People who spam or flame in this thread may receive penalities aswell. I want to keep this as clean as possible.

Screenshots are to be posted here or pm'd to me

Prize: MAJOR Bragging rights. I may hold this tourney in a couple months etc. to see if the winner can hold their title.

All that needs to be done is in some fashion, both parties express some effort into organizing a game, if neither does, then no one should get the win. By you saying FPS should not go to legends just cause it's an fps tourney, is suggesting FPS is too lazy to organize the game. 10 minutes to organize a game still fits in the confines of an fps'er going to the legends forums (2 seconds by this strange internetwork thingy bill gates has going) and asking there. and I'm sure that if they put the effort there, the other party will respond.

AFO may be a Legender but he has accounts on 2 different servers, ranked, and one is like top 10. Bottle was here for like 2 and a half years then got sick and moved to Legends but can't keep his British ass away. Those two are very active everywhere. Tacto is prolly less active than the "legenders".

Anyways, I've pm'ed AFO in the netcave reminding him about this. Post the times you can play Zander and he will prolly be able to find that. Or AIM him, that's the best way to get him.

I'm really, really sorry. I've been really busy and haven't had the chance to contact him, so I changed our Great Lakes welcome message to announce his opponent and tell him to make an effort to get his game in.

I'll take the fall for putting up a guy that doesn't have a forum account. I guess I got a little ahead of myself when he trounced me in our grey game and didn't really think it through. If you can't get your game in AK will take the DQ on his behalf.

(Really, though, you should be able to find him on GL--He's quite active, active enough at the very least to get ranked.)

Also, in keeping with my newfound tradition, I want to announce that I waited the full hour on Rev for my game with Tugnus. I got the PM a little earlier saying that he crashed once he got home from school due to a lack of sleep, and seeing as I did the same thing today after realizing my brother won't let me use the computer, I can accept that as a reasonable excuse. We'll probably play on Thursday 10PM his time, 5PM mine, but in the worst-case scenario, I want the fact that I made it this time around duly acknowledged when it comes to judging who gets DQed.

Yet another one of those games where absolutely nothing seems to work--got beat to the punch on the Assassin Bomb and then pulled by all too many strings until I finally managed to get an Assassin Bomb, then trade off mine and a Witch for his (admittedly this was just good play by Tug), and it went downhill from there...

Then I got absolutely raped defensively, losing both my Pyromancers, Scout and Cleric for a Knight and a Scout, and after that point it was, well, why bother?

It's one thing to lose, but that was depressing.

Unless 57 wins his game and Triforce plays his, XF advances by default.

Maybe I should have put WaCk or Apoc in my stead after all.

I just talked to the so called "rob b nimble" which you played, and disovered that it was not actually Rob but some nub who made his account after the wipe. I smell foul play, but either way post the s/s I suppose.

First off, the guy refused to join AL.
Secondly, Rob B Nimble always capitalizes the first letters of each name as stated.
Lastly, the kid wasn't even aware of being in any tourney, which the real Rob was... or so the person said.

I understand giving the benefit of the doubt to AL but the guy I played was a very good player who is now in the AL clan. Are you telling me that AL recruited the fake rob b nimble? That really doesn't make much sense at all. Also I played rob b nimble about an hour after gig said "rob was just online." Also rob b nimble agreed when I said "tourney game?" in lobby chat (mich was there to verify that).

So to sum this up we are believing that

A) Someone stole rob b nimbles name
B) That someone was a good player, similar in skill to the real rob b nimble
C) The person who stole this name was then RECRUITED BY AL!!!
D) The person agreed to play me in a tournament game

That is really giving them the benefit of the doubt, but ok. Sorry to my fellow SI members that I cannot play a second match against rob.

Eh, this sucks, I was on for 7 and a half hours yesterday trying to find Wolf, he was on about a total of 50 minutes. the first time he came on I was away for about the first ten minutes getting somthing to eat, and then he was on for about another 15 minutes where I pmed him mutiple times and posted in here and he never even said a thing, THEN he gets on again later at night and I pm him multiple times and post in here but he doesn't respond to either again, so I pm Tug asking him if he has any other way to contact him and Tug says he has to play Wolf for a VF tourney and has had a hard time finding him as well...

On Mon Tues and Wed I was on all 3 days and from timed in his afternoon (I had school of those three days due to snow) and I was on yesterday from 4ish to 12ish his time... Honestly, I can't due much more! I doubt we will get our game in now because I have practice later and then family stuff, and my sisters will probably want the comp tommorow because I was on for 7and a half hours yesterday :dry:

I changed my welcome to "Triforce: Make a forum account and PM Cross Punisher!", posted in our clan forums and spent every available moment on GL looking for him and, when I did find him, I got online times and information and handed it off to Cross Punisher, including time, timezone, server, and names he'll be looking for, and pleaded with Triforce to create a forum account and confirm this with Cross Punisher himself.

I haven't heard from either of them since.

I'd have traded out Triforce by now for someone who'd have been less of a hassle, but I was told teams were set in stone. Of course this isn't true, if HA got to trade John Jay into their team, but whatever... :dry:

LT: I know you have put ALOT of effort into getting triforce to play, yet he is the only reason why AK will most likely get through.
