So honestly...the battle isn't all that interesting atm...but I have never seen what just happened, and I'll bet a lot of you haven't either. My asn attacked two witches, one from the side and one from the front and they both blocked! What are the odds of that? I'd like someone to calculate that...I think I'm still gonna end up winning this one, but that was insane!!

2 witches; one frontal one side. Assuming they're both off base blocking it's 1/5 * 1/10 = 1/50, or 2%. Pretty shit odds, if you ask me.

His BR's were both -44, and right next to each other.

So, I used my BR and took a swing at both


And they both blocked!

well those are intense but once this guys 3 knights all blocked from the side. i then wait one turn (healed after his knight hit my assasin) and then 2 blocked and one hit but what are the chances?!?!?!??!!

A 1/50 chance doesn't mean it should never happen.

It means it WILL happen 1/50 times on average.
So when that situation happens, if it was done 300 times, they both should block 6 times on average.
Sure it's unlikely, and unlucky that it was you.
But it must happen at some point.

It doesn't have to happen at some point. Just the chances that it never happens even if you do it infinitely many times approaches zero... But RNGs aren't actually random, so it will happen. Just sucks to be you.

Although once in a dropless game, my Scout had a totally of 15 blocks, only counting the ones occurring in endgame. That really pissed the other guy off.

It doesn't have to. At infinity, it happens that often on average, but after any given number of trials, it may not have happened. With infinitely decreasing odds, it can delay happening indefinitely. :p
