This round ends on the 10th of March, or before if all the games are played.

Turtle: Played using Alpha Rules unless other rules are accepted by BOTH players.

Freestyle: Anything goes, although it should be dropless unless otherwise agreed.

Grey: Dropless, unless otherwise agreed.

I'll send a mass PM round to all the entrants to remind them of the tourny. Please get in touch with your opponents as soon as possible. The quicker we get this done, the more games we can play!

How long does the main season last.

Potentially about 5-6months, with promotions and demotions on a monthly basis. That's likely to change based on activity and whether or not you guys want the Playoffs to be held earlier.

Just got out of a game with Sangro.

He started with standard free units in a standar free set.

I thought he'd rush me so I quickly made an odd anti thingy with standard free units without a knight, I changed it to a DSM. It was a bad idea. I protected it but, it didn't last very long.

Well, at the end game I was up a unit (dragon counting as 2) but I had a knight with 12 HP. He had a cleric, I did not. His units were on the opposite side of his cleric. I went to attack his cleric with my 12 HP knight, he went for it with his scout, I retreated, he did the same. Then, when it seemed it could go either way, he screwed up and exposed his scout, I took it with my scout and it ended there basically.

I challenged cant touch this to a game on GL, noticing he had much greater stats then me I offered to play on rev because im such a nice guy ;) anyways, I told him it was to be an alpha turt unless he wanted to change any rules, so he starts out by telling me no GA and no dsm. The lobby was being spammed by so many golds this day it was hard to communicate but he added the rules of no lw same side and corner stone golem so I agreed to the game and told him his rules were lame lol. He says to me (set up on the trash can side) and so I did assuming he would set same side as me. I beleive cant touch this thaught if we were both set up near the trash it would be a same side game im really not sure because I didnt expect him to be such a noob especially since he is in the veteran division. Regardless, once we got in game we were set oppo. I opened up by saying *wtf man u told me to setup near trash, and didnt u say corner golem???* he was oppo back row golem a clear advantage but still I insisted on playing our game. after several minutes of waiting for a response he opens up with *You broke my rules and i am showing the s/s to mag and I will take the win* so I asked him if he was sure he didnt want to play a game and he said yes. This is where he took the s/s of me leaving the game and saying what is said in his s/s.

As for mag's judgement of my side of the story I unfortunately have no s/s. If anyone else would like to speak on my behalf I would appreciate this. If in the end Mag decides to be on my side I would rather not take the game and beat this noob fair and square.

Yes, that was made clear. What spencer is claiming, however, is that you broke the rules you set. You asked spencer to set trash can side for a same side game. Which would mean you have you set away from the trash can. Furthermore, you asked for 2nd row corner stone, which spencer set for, but you did not.

It seems, if spencer's version of events are to be believed, you broke the rules which you set. I want to see the full screenshot of the game, please. It's too suspicious otherwise.

As it stands, I would like you two to rematch using Alpha Rules. If either of you have a problem with this, please PM me directly.

Anyway, back on topic: Mich offered a rematch after already winning the first game, then went on the win the 2nd game. Regardless of talking about a draw, Mich never did, "we were talking about drawing, but i said i liked to finish game".

In light of MicSpor's and LT's words, Mich seems to have agreed to a draw in the 2nd game, after offering a rematch. Therefore, the result should be a draw. Although I extremely disagree with the manner gigolojlo has been conducting himself lately - on the forums and in game - the result, if they agreed to a draw, should be a draw.

MicSpor's posts, while some were harsh, were bang on. If gig's acting immature and irate, she has every right to point it out. Furthermore, she was trying to calm the situation down and didn't react when gig started having a go at her.

LT: Agreed, and I've taken that into account in my decision above.

Ol' Time: The Playoffs will be a mix of ALL players. The highest score from each style, followed by the 13 highest. Your combined points total over the 5months will determine your seeding.

Phoenix: If he drops out, all remaining games are lost.

As an endnote: I've been thinking about letting people change their style twice (at the end of a round). What are your thoughts/feelings about this?

amazingly, he finally has beaten me once again. I played like crap, got crappy blocks.(1% block on knight) meh.. good game overall. Give him 2 points that will make him closer to the win of the tourney.

I say he gets the match - he beat you the first time (lucky or not), and the second time it looks like he beat you. Agreed draw or not, if he chose to play on it was still game on..

Mich drew because he did get luck and he's a good guy, much unlike gig. Luck is a part of this game. Mich gave him two breaks and he still acts like this... It's pitiful.

My understanding is Mich and gig agreed to draw mid-way through the game, and not at the end. Mich wanted to play the game through, after they agreed to draw. =\

I'm not sure how accurate that is. But if that is the case, then it should be a draw...

I can't, especially if Mich agreed to a draw. I'm putting myself in gig's shoes - he was lucky Mich offered a rematch, lucky Mich agreed to draw. I don't like the way he's portrayed himself, but I think I understand what's happened happened.

I'm waiting to hear from Mich and gig. If BOTH agreed to a draw, the result will be a draw. If only Mich posts saying he agreed to draw early on, then it'll be a draw. Drawing a game (in the endgame, when one side has clearly won) through luck shouldn't happen - luck is a key factor in this game.
