So is the "hard work getting the awesome drops mod form" or is the "given any piece they want mod form" better? I know this is the exact question on everyone's mind so i decided to get an answer!

Yes, it's imagination's ultra fps chanty form vrs. Lambency's mod bomb. It was tough for imagination because one hit from the dsm and any chanty touched died so his form had to work fast. Imagination decided that since each dragon attacked for 0 he didnt have to worry about them and instead went for the attacking units.
The game went on for an excrutiating 10 or so turns before Lambency made a fatal misclick that didnt allow him to break chanty focus and put himself 2 moves away from defeat and therefor surrendered to the greatness of the chanty!!!

Why wouldn't you have to worry about dragon? They can still defocus with 0 attack power.

I've only been playing a few months, but I am quickly realizing that the chanty is arguably the most powerful piece in the game. It is the only piece that can take out 12 units in one blow.

Quite arguably, since it's also the only piece that can take out six pieces then give them all back. That's the reason I gave up the chanty at one time - temporarily, of course.
The chanty also doesn't handle ranged well - dual scouts will easily take down a chanty, while they aren't always enough against a frost golem. Frost golems kill scouts, enchantresses kill knights.

Since this thread's resurfaced to the "today" stage, I imagine you should tell this lot about how you challenged me on Senile Felines to a game and I owned that form with my standard dropless grey form.

yes true i dont use this in a normal game since it is trash vrs anyone that uses a scout in a safe position, but i have beaten many a gold with it and i love using it cause its fun.

I think 10 Frosts vs 10 Chanties would be fun to watch. Sure, Chanties can freeze more targets, but Frosts can spread out, and they also have more range and less wait time. The game would take a while, but would be fun to watch if it was between two experienced players, eh?
