I have a few unit ideas. I hope you like them. Post your coments feel free to bash them if you don't like them. These are my good intentioned units. And no more spamming I promise.
New unit, it's a Paladin, I realize there have been like three million paladins, but I really have a good idea...I think. New unit Water Elf, at bottom. Use my handy guide to find my new units. Pretty much anyhing bolded is new.

Appearance: Samauri in traditional, team color, armor. Wielding a traditional katana. Attack animation would be an energy wave coming from the katana swing.

Ability: Basic Melee Attack-Range of one(same as knights)

Appearance: Team color Martial Arts uniform, punches to attack.

Ability: Advanced Melee Attack- Range of one (same as Knight's)
If first attack is blocked the ninja will attack again with half it's regular attack power but the defending unit's block% is halved because it's a surprise attack. i.e. The ninja attacks a scout from the side, this attack misses it then attacks again if it hits it does ten.(before subtracting for armor)

Appearance: Basic ninja uniform in team color, the ninja holds two sais, he uses the right sai for the first attack, if it misses than he uses the left for the second.

Ability: Basic Melee Attack- Range of one(same as Knight's)
If the Berzerker's HP drops below 10 his power increases by 12.

Apperance: A huge human in regular team color clothes, wielding a large sword. When his health drops below ten his sword glows red.

Ability: Focus Ability-Range of three. ALL units in affected area have their power reduced by half. Doesn't effect a Cleric. Works against your units too.

Appearance- A knight with a team color cross on his shield. Wears no helmet. The ability is him talking. This Paladin is an ex knight who now tries to promoted peace on the battle field. Quite a confused fellow admittedly.

Ability: Basic Melee Attack- Range of one
Synergystic Ability-If you have a cleric in play the Demon gets; +20 HP, +10 Power, -10 Armor, -40% Block, +1 move, +1 wait. Your Cleric gets -12 power and +100% blocking. Once either unit dies stats reset for the other. A demon can not be put into play with the more than one cleric.

Appearance: A frail looking human with a red aura, and team color clothes. Uses small dagger to attack.

Counts as 1/2 unit. (you would get 2 and have to use both)

Ability: Basic Melee Attack-Range of one

Appearance: A wolf. Pretty self explanatory. Takes up a whole space. CAN NOT have both on one space.

Ability: Basic Melee Attack-Range of one. Knocks enemy back one tile if there is no unit there.

Appearance: An elephant. Team color tusks. Rams unit with tusks for attack.

Name: Earth Elf

Armor: 0
Block: 0%
Movement: 3
Wait: 3

Ability: Advanced Focus Attack- Range of two. Deals damage to all units in area. Deals damage to all units in area at the end of all your turns until the Elf's focus is broken.

Appearance: An elf in Team Color robes. The attack is an earthquake.

Block: 10% (5% from sides)
Movement: 3
Wait: 3

Ability: Advanced Focus Attack-Range of two. Deals damage to all units in area. For your next three turns the tiles in the affected area are flooded. While a tile is flooded a unit can not use their attack or abillity from that tile.

Appearance: An elf with long blue hair and team color robes. The attack is a flood. The water rises from the battlefield to about waist level of the elf.

With the Longbowman. Scouts as it is, with proper knowledge of LOS rules, is impossible to stop. There are trick shots everywhere.

Samurai, give him 23 attack. (2 hits to kill a cleric). I like the attack pattern though.

Martial arts man. Seems very pointless.

Earth elf seems rather weak.

Ninja is a nice idea, but is the second attack attacking the front. If so, less damage and more blocking seems too weak as well.

Yeah about the ninja I realized that too. I liked my idea than realized wow I now have a 20% chance of hitting a knight to do 8 damage, yay that's stupid. How about the chance of blocking is halved but they do turn around. Because other units don't get that extra attack anyway. So something is better than nothing.

EDIT: the earth elf isn't weak, it does 20 unblockable damage to multiple units and then 10 after the rest of your turns till the focus is broken.

EDIT2: I now realize an enemy in that close range can easily hit the Elf to break it's focus...we can't all be perfect.

YOu really do have great ideas! But, as with any initial concept, improvements can likely be made.

1) Ninja - I love this guy. His ability of the supporting atttack reducing evade to half is an awesome way of increasing the odds of some light damage, even to already front facing enemies. No changes ^^

2) Samurai - great concept. I think he's a bit strong to be dealing damage to multiple targets. Somewhere in the range of 16-20 possibly. I'd make this ability blockable if he did the 20 side of the spectrum, but unblockable if I chose a lower power.

3) Martial Arts Man - What a fast unit! 5 movement is quite the advantage, cross fields in few turns and still deal...eh, ok damage. the 5 movement would make him a wonderful suprise strike. I'd give him a little bit of armor though, even just 5.

4) berzerker gets too small of a buff for being at such low hp. Either A) raise the Rage limit, or B) make him get even stronger (say, +10?), keeping the same Rage hp level. everything else seems good.

5) Death - cool. thats one hell of an ability. Maybe it should have a chance of missing for being so powerful. Say, it always hits as though attacking from the side?

6) Earth Elf - Great idea, especially against Slow recovery units ^^ The power looks okay, but its something that would need to be playtested.

7) Longbow Archer - Yep, I do have to agree, pretty useless ^^;;

8) Posts - if ya could, when you bump please say which units you've added/changed. makes it easier to keep track of. =)

I don't see why demon would be powered up by a priest...

His abilities seem to be not all that great either. Without a priest, he's inferior to a knight, no doubt about it. With a ppriest along, he gains HP better than a Dragon tyrant's, Attack slightly behind, NO blocking, NO armor, and the same wait time. It also renders your cleric utterly useless while it's alive (which won't be for very long, rest assured)

Overall, this unit just isn't very nice, though better than your longbow archer.

Yeah my idea was it drew power from the cleric and it's presence coruppted it. It was just and idea and only slightly better than the longbowman. The strat. idea was a kamikaze unit for a turtle formation.

Thats a rather interesting unit. Not all that hot for killing anything really, but awesome for blocking something in, and breaking focus. Very original, and it would beef up the currently miniscule Beast section. I give it my stamp of approval.

Yeah, change the whole energy thing with the Samurai. I practice Bushido (Samurai code of honour translating to "The way of the blade") and your idea is so unrealisticly gay. It's almost an insult after practicing the Katana since Kindergarden.

Wow, calm down man. Where do I start, ah First off I also have practiced Martial Arts since I was a kid. I have also practiced many diferent Eastern stlye weapons(including a katana, I didn't like it when compared to a straight sword) and I got the idea from the legends that Samauri's were so perfectly trained that they could draw out true power from themselves and their sword. I wasn't saying that he shot lasers from the katana more of his attacks were too fast to be seen and he was capable of hitting multiple enemies before they could respond. Also two things about you and the Bushido, First it is rather out of date isn't it, isn't part of it being loyal to your death to your feudal lord, if so your land lord must be happy. Or is it the president and if so where were you and your katana when JFK got shot, huh? And two I don't remember anything in the Bushido about calling those who insult you gay.

Mostly Tae Kwon Do, a little Judo and Jijitsu techniques I think. That's what my instructor said, about some of the stuff he taught us. Now who is your feudal lord?

Well first of all, Bushido is just the code of honor. I don't have a lord haha. But if I had to die, I would wanna die fighting. What you are thinking of is called "Yakuza." Yakuza is an old tradition, where if you were a Samurai, and retreated from battle, you would take your own life, or if your lord told you to, you would also take your own life. I definetly do not practice that haha. I serve nobody but awesome old me.
I myself practice Kempo, Karate, Judo, Budkai, Bushido, Boxing,
Kick-Boxing, juditsu and Ninjitsu. I love martial arts, I'm glad to see another player on this site that understands the concept of it.

I used to kick-box when I lived in Ohio when I was younger. I was pretty good, won quite a fair share of tournaments. I stopped for awhile, then when I tried to do it again I sucked. Also I can't remember who but someone posted that I must be a Martial Arts freak. It was funny that they were kinda right.

Yakuza is Japanese for dishonorable/common person or something of the sort... (can't remember exactly...)

Nowadays, Yakuza refers to Japanese gangs.

Anyways, I think the wolf unit is a bit unbalanced. Since you put in two at a time... try and compare 2 wolves to a Pyromancer... they'd easily massacre it.

Heck, you could compare the pair to a Knight, they'll still have an advantage. (Lying in the fact that they can attack while he's still recovering and that they can both hit him in the back regardless of the direction he's facing... even though only one guy is gonna hit him at a time.

Seppuku and Yakuza are very similar things. Seppuku is taking your life at your own will, Yakuza is you are forced to by somebody else's will for you have been dishonorable.
