Mischievous player froze timer

Yesterday a grey player named "A" asked if I wanted to battle. I said sure. About mid-way into the battle it was apparent that A was going to lose, as most greys do when they try to fight my gold account. About mid-way into the battle player "A" tried to tell me it will be a draw game. I said no it won't. A few moves later player A was stuck and had lost their cleric and witch. At that point player "A" said, "well, this will be your last turn" and laughed. Player A typed something like "/stop time", then "ops." Next thing I know the game timer froze. I stopped counting after about 20 minutes or so. Afterwards I got disconnected.

What gives? Do Game Mods have the ability to stop the game timer? Obviously someone does. Well, that's just poor sportsmanship and immature.

I doubt he had anything to do with it... or if he did, maybe he disconnected his internet and had some sort of backup thing to keep it from fully disconnecting and it froze the timer.. who knows.

But this happens every once in a while. Most recently with me was actually yesterday in a game with deepsea. It just happens sometimes.

the thing i find funny is how you like to beat greys with your gold account. yes you pay and youre allowed but um i dont think thats is being a good sport either

Tex, I understand your pain. It comes from the fact that you applied for a sponsored Gold acc and were not accepted. So don't get all angry.

You are reading WAY too much into my post. Fact is, A asked me to fight him/her with my gold in the lobby, so I said sure. Many greys want to fight my gold because I am a new player and a team sponsor. So they want to beat my gold for bragging rights. It's real simple.

That is strange but I highly doubt typing the command /stoptime had anything to do with this.

It's just you can hold it as long as you want til someone d/c's...It's weird.

This got fixed on legends somehow.. but since legends' administration power seems to be gone, I don't see it wandering over to FPS any time soon.

This is something that we all will just have to deal with, but fortunately not that many people know the trick (GOOD WORK, SCORPZ :rolleyes:).
