Who do you think would win?

When I first entered the game I knew it would be a good game. This is how it started.

My first move i moved my assassin up just cause I had to go first...Then he hit my scout and knight with his pyro and my next two moves I hit the clump of them with my pyros. He healed after the first pyro hit then I did it again and since he didnt move his scout and killed it with my Lightning Ward. Then I was able to sneak my assassin around and kill his cleric after I shot it once with the scout since it is in perfect site of my scout right away :) After that s/he got desperate and just went on an all out offense and I just massacred them one by one :) This is how it ended

Of course. The turtle beats that sloppy front-line form. I want more description... you just killed his scout a specific way, then killed all his units and won.

For example, did he do anything meaningful with his witch?

I use a different set most of the time but I thought I might try it out :p

More description hmm... Well I got his pyro and cleric with assassin at 1 time. Then since none if his/her people attacked my assassin i was able to kill his/her witch since it had been hit by one of my pyros first. Then I was able to kill his last pyro with my pyro scout combo :) Then he tryed sending in like one knight at a time and had 0 effect and then an assassin and then a knight and so on and so on... :p

lol he was able to sneak a knight around and kill it and i didnt really care because while s/he was doing that i was able to kill his/her pyro and 1 of the assassins :p

Both sets are noob, Blue is ok for same, but opp any good player would crush it.

Once again...Thats not the set up I use. I only used it the 1 game because I was bored and was trying random set ups so calm down speedracer. This is the set I normally use

I dont like that BW positioning.

Say you play opp sides and your opponent is flanking w/ knight, knight, assassin, and scout. You'll probably move a knight down and a knight across. But that means he can move his own knights up and then shoot your chanty. You cant freeze on the spot, because you'd end up freezing half your own units and your BW. If you move out to freeze, his assassin will get you.

That BW position wouldn't be so troubling if you moved your knights up one though. Because as it is, if you try to outflank him, your knights are one space behind.

Some people actually come up with the same set. Cmezav and I use the same one and we only played once; when we did play we both thought the other stole our set somehow.

I dunno, the opponent's beginning form leads me to believe he or she is not very experience, a cleric in the 2nd corner, completely susceptible to a witch, a scout that would be in default LW range, etc.

But I disagree with some of the comments. In an opposite side game, I think yellow would have a huge advantage, with the high number of attacking units, and the advanced positions of flanking units.

You guys underestimate the power of many forms. You have to realize that a turtle without an LW can still be extremely effective, especially with the gain in mobility and another moving piece.

Dang, Apoc is getting a lot of hate in this thread, I kinda feel sorry for the guy. I thought your first from was okay, and your second one good. As far as your win was concerned, yes you should have won with that form matchup. But you did win, handily at that.
