I think you should be able to change the direction your unit is facing when making a setup.

I think I might have posted this idea before...

I dunno, but I like it. Units on the borders would sometimes be beter off facing another direction. Would add a little variety to the main game, and also would spark the creation of minigames. (Like a tournament in which all starting units have to face backward). Sounds fun.

That's probably one of the most useless suggestions I've ever heard. Reason being because the first or second turn you can turn your units. Having them pre-turned would give you extremely little to no advantage.

This isn't about *use* though. It is about feature.

But in order to turn them it costs them an extra turn. Therefore it wouldn't be completly usless.

*sigh* Maybe attack and then turn the unit or something?
This definitely doesn't have a real tactical advantage most of the time. And even in times when it does, the advantage is so slight it doesn't make much of a difference due to the first turn no-movement rules.
If you could have all your units facing forward where their blocking is at its highest, why would you turn them?

I think I heard this idea but it sounds really good through, sounds pretty useful but I don't pay much attention to the line-up eventhrough thats how most people work up there strategies.

Ya Steve did post this before, and I am sort of surprised that this hasn't happened yet, although nothing seems to change around here. But defiantly a legit idea.:D

Its totally usefull. The way you have it, you can only turn 1 unit at a time. This way your entire flank can be turned.
