I know about turtle and rush, but the term anti has confused me a bit...
The way I see it, anti-turtle is similar to rush and anti-rush is similar to turtle, isn't it? (Clearly, it isn't, so can somebody explain the difference.
And another question... What's a freestyle game?
Thank you

The terms have evolved with the gameplay itself.
In the very beginning there was just a general gameplay, no really defined sets.
Then came the Turtle. The Turtle is a defensive arrangement where you group your units, to force the attacker to come to you so multiple units may hit the attacking unit effectively.
In response was born the Rush. The rush is simply that. A formation made to rush multiple units quickly forward in an attempt to over-run the opponent. With this can be included the Bomb, a magic-class filled rush with little defense, stacking as many offensive units with power attacks to try and overwelm the defenses.
Both the Rush and Bomb quickly came to overpower most standard turtles. Grouping your units in a small cluster also means that area effect units do damage to more units......
The Anti was developed to counter the Rush. Anti-Rush would be a more apt name. Basically a combination of Turtle, but with attack capabilities, the Anti is more of a Hybrid of both.
There really is no Anti-Turtle, as that is basically what the Bomb and Rush was.
The last style mentioned was Freestyle. This is not actually a style in and of itself, but simply a way to designate a battle is open to any style, and not limited to just turtle or Rush formations.
There are many that lay claim to the invention of certain styles, but claims can be tenuous at best as many players tinkered with similar setups as each unit addition changed the gameplay of TAO.
