Ok so i have new idea for unit. Hope its original, if its not, im sorry.

Alchemist

Description: These humans have researched a whole lot of some colourful waters :) and their goal is to transform things to gold. But in their free time, they are aiding humans in battle.

HP: 32
Armor: 0
Blocking: 25% front, 12,5% side
Attack: 10 + acid
Range: 3 ( LOS applied ), 1 unit in range
Movement: 3
Recovery: 2

Acid: When they succesfully hit an unit, that unit is being corroded by acid. This decrease its armor by 50%, and since it disrupts it, even its blocking is decreased by 50%. When another unit steps aside for this unit, it becomes acid-infested too! So its retreat capabilities are limited too. This wears off after 2 turns.

Bonus: Herbicide: This ability is just a fun addition. The point is that when the alchemist attacks a shrub, that shrub becomes infested instead of being destroyed. On the next turn, however, its destroyed and all shrubs one tile from it are now infested. This is meant to rid off of undestructible shrub forests.

When I looked at this thread I was expecting something from that late night anime cartoon. I am glad to see it isnt what I expected. It seems a little overpowered. Say you do this to a dragon tyrant on his three turn wait. Then when you recover does the DT's armor go to 4 if you attack again?

No more than one acid isnt effective, but it counts 2 turns again.

Full Metal Alchemist is a great show, and you're right, it's nothing like it. Shadow, nice unit. But it's a little underpowered unless you use it on a stoned knight.

What should i do then? Make its attack unblockable?

1. It's targeted against the furgon. It eliminates the point of it.
2. You do realize that I could just not use my unit if it has acid?

It's pretty week.

Give it like a poison effect as well. Like make it so they lose 5 HP for 3 turns.

Good point about the furgon. But not using the unit wouldn't do much, since the penalty is to defense.

I think this will work best as the first attack against a unit on 2 wait time, giving a decent amount of extra damage. Besides the anti-furgon ability, though, it's underpowered, and a bit polarized against the knight and stone golem. I think the acid should reduce blocking and armor by a set amount instead of halving them.

I didnt want to give it poison effect because it would be like wisp. I think each unit should have its own special ability...

That herbicide thing was just a fun addition. I wanted to post a poll with it to see if you like it, but it didnt post it... :(

The herbicide thing is a neat idea, but it is rather skewed against the Furgon (as is the mudquake). I'd laud it except that I can't refute Coder's statement.
