Perma-Grey Accounts

I know this has been suggested before, but I would like to go about it in a slightly different way. I would like people to not to immediatly think that this is a bad idea, or say "if you want perma-grey go to legends".


Pros

Fewer Dissconections
White Text [not filtered by /chatfilter option]
No dissconect after games
Less price than a full gold account
Account isnt wiped


Cons

No upgraded Units
Cannot create clan
No /chatfilter option

I like this option but if its 2 dollars less why not just get gold. The only thing that stops people from buying gold is that they do not want or have no paypal account. So this idea wouldn't, in my opinion, be a big deal at least to TAO.

Because some people don't like playing gold games EVER, so that's 2 dollars a month or whatever they don't have to spend.

Also an advantage of this over gold is you don't have a gold account so you don't appear to be jumping greys. It also saves you the hassle specifying a grey game anytime you challenge someone or ask for a game.

Here is one reason I do not like it, it can be easly abused.

See a user pays for a gold account, thats 5 dollars. (That user gets the units, makes a clan)

The user then stops paying for gold, but gets this account, the user is now a gold for only 3 dollars.

I like the suggestion. I think $5 should be the perma grey accounts. $10 should be a gold account, or atleast a a gold account for 3 months or so.

It is not legends-esk because of no gold drop units. As for what buster said, if someone reports a perma-grey who has gold units they can be deleted, just like a spammer, cheater, scammer or cyberor.

Permagreys means less people would go gold to keep their account. Not being wiped is one of the biggest selling points of being gold.
