Give the stone golem the opposite effect that it has on your units, on your oppenents units. So basically it takes away 30 armor if you use it on your opponent's units.
No way justice, almost all of the units are below 30 armor anyhow, and how would you do the negative armor? No way Jose. Sorry Justice hope there are no hard feelings :)

Useless idea.. First, if you do such a thing how would you maintain the focus?

The lowest in can go to is 0, dumbass =/
The reason is because I was in endgame of a turt vs rush game, and the guy's last 2 knights were against my 3 knights scout and stonester. It occured to me that if i stone his knight, and it brought it to 0, it would have to attack my stony rather than my scout, or go after my scout with 0 armor. It wouldn't be useful hardly ever...but what if a dragon attacks your cleric? Stone it to 0 armor and beat the shit out of it. There is SOME strategy that it could be used for, but not much. But same with the furgon shrub thing..

It's sad that Justice really had to explain that. I and I'm sure many others have come down to a situation in gameplay similiar to what was said by justice. I really think it's a great idea.

I also think it's a good idea because it will add much more stategy to the game itself in that attacking will not be as easy, and therefore more defensive strategies would be triggered. I really would be encouraged to turtle, or at least use a Stone Golem in my set if this ability was given to this unit because it would be another way of preventing an insane attack. However, mages would be even more powerful in this manner because their armor can not be dropped any lower.
I'd also like to point out that I did NOT neg opixMK "10 times" like he said in the other thread (it was locked so...). I only remember negging him once or maybe twice for trying to start trouble between me and other golds by negging us and signing the negs with other people's names. Clearly the idiot isn't aware of our ability to see who repped us... I just wanted to point that out so you guys won't be suspicious of me, since I wasn't able to reply to the other thread.

That's ridiculous. It'd be the death of most units.

Explain more. Remember it's a focus unit. And... for the time being the only effective way to use a Stone Golem in one's form is to base their form around it (therefore, make a turtle). This idea might make it a more versatile unit, don't you think?

I like the idea. Overpowered? I don't think so, it can lower the deffence of a close enemy unit or two but its a focus unit, to stop it all you have to do is hit it. If you can't hit it, then it was well used tacticaly.
The only thing I'd suggest is have the lower deffence ability be a secondary move like the muddy ground pound. I don't think powering up your units and powering down enemy units at the same time would be too fair, especialy concidering the stoney's great deffence, the way I see it if its hurting other units it should be more vulnurable and having it as a secondary move would weaken itself as well as the enemy.

The idea itself isn;t horrible, beyond the obvious that it will never happen.
However, modify it so that the Stony can do this to ONE enemy unit within range at a time.

With the use of the barrier ward it becomes much more powerful. It is a little pointless and it won't ever happen. However, it is also a good idea.
