maybe its just DIVIENRIGHT on his vacation but i think the rankings should get updated about once a week, its cool to see what ranking i/ u'r in every week, not that stats matter but it is fun to see

we all want to see the rankings posted..but these people have lives and we have to respect that i guess..it will be updated just wait till they get a chance.

The more this game grows, the longer it will take to upgrade the rankings page. That is, unless some sort of automated process can be greated *wink wink*

Just give it time, as far as I know, its done manually right now, with no set-up computer process to speed it up.

Yes it is all done manually: they have hired schoolkids in a variety of world-wide locations who can monitor all the games as they happen, in big stadiums, and after each win they send runners down to the file cabinets that hold all the user account records, so that they can mark off another win.

The problem is, when they want to figure out the rankings, they have to call up the taskmaskers of all the stadiums (in conference call with translators) and use abacus etc to add up all the wins for each person that happened at each stadium. And mailing the results can sometimes be so unreliable...

My guess is they were waiting to update them until they started the new rating system. They'll probably make a final rankings list before all our records get deleted before we start anew with a rating of 750.
