Okay my idea for creating a unit is the archer should beable to have a bar of magic and it should beable to shoot fire ice or light arrows that do 24 damge instead of 18 but it cost magic and when the cleric heals it the magic goes up it should be called sorcerer scout or magic scout or magic archer. so basiccally a normal scout but with stronger attacks.

Um.. there can not be an "upgrade" of any unit, and TAO does not have magic bars. This unit would be overpowered, and would also put the whole game off balance. Welcome to the forums though, try to follow the guidelines of the stickied thread on this board.

I didn't neg him.
OK, here's the first question I ask to check if a unit idea is overpowered: can it do everything some existing unit can do and more? For this, the answer is yes, so overpowered. There needs to be more disadvantage to its ability than making it act like a normal scout sometimes.

That's a good idea... And also you might want to change the name... And maybe lower the range to five. I'm thinking if each attack costs about 5-7 hp so if it attacks constantly without being healed, a Dragon can kill it easily. And, if it has very little Hit Points and attacks, the Hp used can kill it. This way it can't just sit in a corner with 1HP and nail something.
That reminds me of my Poison Whipmaster... the HP cost wasn't the main point, but it did drain off its own HP by virtue of having a pyromancer pattern at only 1 range.
Yes, this could actually be good, now that you've weakened the attack range. How about lowering the movement as well? A magical bowman won't have the movement of a ranger.

good ideas guys thx i think that it should happen but maybe only golds can get it so more people can be interested in becoming gold
Of course only golds can get it... that's a standing rule here. Although another old rule is that technically no one gets it, we just like to pretend golds do.

Shadows, if you like our ideas you might want to edit the opening post of this thread and make it neat, following the CAU guidelines. I think it will look like a good starting unit for a newbie.
