Every click a day gives 1.1 cups of food to a person (or so they say).
If you want to help out, give it a look.
:)
P.S. There are alot of links to other charitable places there, as well.

Holy cow, you got vista?
I didn't think anyone would get it for a few years, because like almost no games are compatable with it.

Thanks straving people!Well, we give them canned goods and handouts as well. We can't feed them 24/7, but we can help. For the people who accept further help, we can get them out of the cold and into a shelter where they get regular meals.

Boston is too much of a commute to help the homeless there. I give out hats and coats in the winter and voluteer at the food bank in the summer.
Well, we give them canned goods and handouts as well. We can't feed them 24/7, but we can help. For the people who accept further help, we can get them out of the cold and into a shelter where they get regular meals.
I got to tell you I did this once for Thanksgiving....I met some of the most ungrateful bunch of scumbags I have ever seen....and a few nice people who were just going through a rough time. They expected you to wait on them hand and foot as if they were eating at the Ritz. I decided that was enough of the bullsheot handout crap for me.
I now prefer to donate to charities that teach skills to the homeless, so that those that are actually down on their luck and want to help themselves can learn to help themselves....more effective and rewarding than one meal a week.
PS...Turns out that this is the real deal according to Snopes.com : very interesting read

There is also sites to click to fund breast screening and food for animals. :)
Good find Learz...

yeah, i wouldn't be too happy if that were the case in east boston either - they are quite grateful for what we offer, and kind to talk to :)

You are reading Dirka's post, Block or Allow? HAHAHA! Sucks to be you.
I believe we work for where we are in life. Nobody gets my pity, but I will click for the hell of humanity.
