It was my witch 10 hp and scout 20 hp vs his knight with 19 hp. He go for front shot on my with and it HIT i was like omg u noob, and my scout was on other side of the board so i attack it from front and it BLOCK wtf is that, now he making fun of me and stuff and i do not think i can win this one anymore. This kind stuff not suppose to happen it gots to be even.
Now my stats went down from losing cause he wouldn't agree to draw me, i hate that dude

I feel your pain man. I think that guy's a cheater. What was his name? I probably played the guy, 'cuz there was this one game and like I was totally winning but my knight was at 14 HP and +110 blocking. But this guys assassin comes up behind me and kills it. Like wtf, dude, it says 110% blocking!

wtf you lost me... what about ur witch
In the endgame, his witch didn't block a front shot, then the opponent's knight blocked a front shot, and he lost because of this. He's mad about the bad luck.

Jesus, is it really that hard to figure out it wasn't bad luck at all, but normal blocking percentages? MVP is just an idiot, don't listen to anything he says. Let him be stupid, and maybe he'll get bored and go away.

I dont like when my witch get hit by something, but thats not bad luck. It says 20% chance to block, and you dont need to be skilled in maths to figure out you have 1:4 chance to block. And you have the same chance, 1:4, to hit a knight. I dont really know if it shouldnt be 1:5, but that doesnt matter, theres small chance anyway. So this tread is stupid and useless.

must we really be forced to listen to this guy? he thinks witches has 25% blocking and knights have 75% blocking he clearly has no idea what he talking about.
reign bow needs to be banned though he cheated cause i put this in my random number generator and the number than came out was 10 so the witch should have blocked and the number the number generator gave me for the knight was 92 so that attack should have hit

Second, shadowkill, since your post has no sign of sarcasm or humor, I will make the asupmtion that you are a complete idiot.
Thirdly, MVP, just because YOUR random number generator gave you some numbers does not mean they correspond with flash's random number generator.
Unfortunately, everything is working... except for a few brains... KB: you made me laugh :)

And, a Witch being hit from the front isn't unlucky. Many others have had way wose luck than you. You should feel lucky. :)

In fact, 1:4 is a perfectly accurate way to describe a witch's blocking. Shadowkill was confused between two right ways, not the right way and a bit of idiocy.
A witch's chance of blocking is either 1/5 (1 shot in 5) or 1:4 (1 block for every 4 successful hits).

I see your point, scb. But generally, you do not define the ratio that way (although there are some good example of where you would use such a method). The more common way to express something is to have: event:all_possible_outcomes.
Anyways, percentages are much more easy to understand, and require less explanation. Lets also remember how to divide 100 by other numbers, like 4, 5... etc :p

Here's a quick math lesson:
1/5 is read as: 1 OUT OF 5. We all know that 1/5 = 20%, where 1 outcome out of 5 trials gives the desired result (in this case a front block for a witch).
1:4 is read as: 1 TO 4. This means that for every 1 desired outcome, there are 4 other possible outcomes. 1 block, 4 hits. Since 1 + 4 = 5, that is still 1 block for every 5 attempts = 1/5 = 20%.
THEY MEAN THE SAME THING.
Now that we're all on the same page, it is MUCH easier to refer to things in percentages, as pointed out by several other people.
