Yes, I just committed a crime against the whole essence of TAO and made myself a thread. Big freaking whoop. Rather than find some random thread to spam, I'm writing here about my life in the past few months... which has been really hectic/sad/better/awesome/freakin incredible =]
I moved away from my parent's house 3 weeks ago this Sunday. I couldn't take the lame 9:30pm curfew, them screwing up my relationship with my girl because they don't agree with my choice of girls, being nagged day in and day out to do stupid crap around the house, being made to go to church whenever the doors are open, the guidelines on music, not being allowed to play metal music on my guitar, the stupidity of getting yelled at if I said "crap" or "dang it" because it sounds too much like damnit, among other things. So I moved. I'm now living with a friend and his family who have literally adopted me as a member of their family... and now my life is incredible. =] It's wonderful having the freedom to come and go as I please, to listen to what music I want, to play what I want on the guitar, FINALLY being happy with Racheal, being able to get a job (I work part time at KFC when I'm not busy with other things... and I have another job that's part time too.) and actually encouraged to "spread my wings" - as the well-overused cliche goes - and grow freaking up as my own person.
Things weren't going well for a long time at home, which was part of the reason why I've been gone for so long... And I'm not promising anything but I will be back more often than I have been, and hopefully all the other cool members from last year haven't given up on TAO like some of them promised they would...
It's good to be back. =] I missed you all...
