Hey guys, I have a problem with my computer. It runs too slow and it says this message about my virtual memory being too low. I think that I need to buy a new hard drive with more memory space considering this laptop I have now is a cheaper gateway with only 250 MB. But, I was wondering if anybody knew a website that says how to install an internal hard drive, or maybe they can tell me, or maybe there is even an alternative method. I would appreciate any help, thanks.

#1) Virus problem. Get some decent anti-virus software and scan your computer. There are some free programs out there.
#2) Spyware problem. Get some REALLY GOOD anti-spywere software and scan your system. I bet this is the problem.
#3) Registry problem. Get Registry Mechanic, it does wonders.
#4) If you virtual memory is too low, reboot your computer. If it is STILL too low, you need to get rid of some of the programs running in the backround. I could help you a *little* bit more, if I knew what Operating system (OS) you are using. Do you have Windows XP, 98, 95, a Mac?

Learz not only that... I've been pissed for 2 days, my computer has gotten slow ever sinse I downloaded CS3 photoshop. But I deleted it and still it dosn't go fast. So basically I changed my backround to original windows xp... Finally it goes faster, but then it slows down.... Sinse I noticed that CS3 wasn't the problem I basically re-downloaded it. I cannot find the error yet, but I bet it's some system updates that have been lost, I might have to dig them up, or they will keep slowing my computer down. Another problem is ''sbc'' the company I use, may be having problems, if this little anti-slowness dosn't get fixed i'm afraid I'll be stuck editing my computer all day, which I would highly hate.
