Pokemon Diamond/Pearl

If you are a pokemon fan and you have not heard of the 2 new pokemon game installements for the nintedo DS, pokemon diamond and pearl, then you need to kill yourself. These 2 games come out on April 22, 2007.

Thats right, we are blessed once again with 2 new addictive pokemon games, but this time its for nintendo DS. The games center around the new region, shonen. And as usual, you can choose to be a boy or a girl. And you have a new rival, and allso a new criminal organization: Team Galaxy.

Again, the starters are center around the basics, grass, fire, and water. But this time, they have another attribute. Here are their names.

Turtwig: Grass/Ground (Turtle)
Chimchar: Fire/Fighting (Monkey)
Piplup: Water/Metal (Penguin)

And as usual, i am going to choose the water pokemon, as i do in every pokemon game, for 2 reasons. Number 1, water is always the one with higher HP and Stronger Defence. Number 2, he is going to be half metal, which means he is going to be resistable to almost any attack.

How about you? What are you're plans for these 2 games? Which game are you going to buy? I am buying pokemon diamond, cause the color blue rockz0rdz :p

The Original 151 were the best. Then they just made new Pokemon, same effects, different names and looks.

Red and Blue where the best, and the only other good ones were the Remakes of Red and Blue(Because it was the original game... + more!!!) and Silver/Gold. Everything other than those ones sucked. Also, I chose Charzard in the first when Ele because he is pretty much the only really good fire pokemon you can get in the first one, and Garados was better than Blastoise anyway.

Yellow was alright too. I used the codes one time, so you got infinite master balls and rare candies. And I remember you had to fight like, this glitch thing, and if you caught it, it messed up your game.

Venesaur was my favorite Pokemon.

Although I find Pokemon to be kind of baby-ish, I think I might buy one of these games because all games on the DS rock.
I'll probably choose Tutwig if I buy the game just because I have always chosen the grass-type Pokemon.

Heh... Red & Blue were so messed up it wasn't even funny. I had a level 100 Charizard before the 4th Gym, thanks to my best friend Missingno. I also have a level 100 Mew (you can get him before the 3rd Gym, without hacks or gameshark).

I am a Pokèmon fan, and I know almost everything about the new game (all of the Pokèmon, gym leaders, and elite four). I also know how to unlock certain Pokèmon like Regigigas:

Surprisingly Mercock, types does/can matter and as I see it, Blastoise would so destroy Charizard.. Unless the Charizard is at a stage of where it knows Seismic Toss. Wait.. even then Hydro Pump can blow the shizzle out of Charizard.. Intresting

I did use Tumtwig on Diamond but then because of new changes and different Pokemon, when I first got Diamond it was horrible (knowning I was more used to the classics back then and still are).

Dude, shut up, literally. Registeel, Regirock and Regice shouldn't have even been made, they're the n00biest Pokemon that was put on the Pokemon series. And I'm sure everyone knows where to get them on either Ruby/Sapphire, you'd have to be an idiot not to know..

The cloning glitch isn't worth Diamond/Pearl at all, it was only good for Red, Blue, Yellow, Crystal (which does include Gold and Silver), and maybe Ruby/Sapphire aswell.

I already planned all the Pokèmon I'm using. Whenever a new Pokèmon game comes out, I look into the Japanese game first. I divese a strategy that would be good against the Elite Four and all the Gym Leaders. If you do this, every Pokèmon will be a piece of cake.

Wikipedia lies to you. Latios/ias are DRAGON/PSYCHIC...no where does it say FLYING. It's birdLIKE, not bird.

Extremespeed is normal type. And anythign with wings can learn Fly, look at Tropius.

Wrong. There are five pokemon who can learn fly without being flying-type. Vibrava, Flygon, Latios, and Latias. (Not including Mew, it can learn any move and is solely psychic)

I rather like the Pokemon games. If you think about it, they're basically an RPG. The only draw back is the stereotype that they're only for kids. Dragons could be considered like that, but when I'm 40 years old, I'm still going to think they're awesome, and have made that clear to my girlfriend and all of my friends. I mean c'mon! They flying dinosaurs that blow fire! For reals!!!

Anyway, I watched one of the Animes on Cartoon Network, and missed the game. So I recently went out and bought a Leaf Green version, since its the remake of the Red/Blue/Yellow series, and have been playing it. I'm hooked again. I was quite freaked out when I ran into a Suicune, which I caught using my masterful Pokemon catching skills :cool: (Teh Masterball!!!), right outside of Cerulean the other day. I have a strict requirement that everyone in my party must look cool. Thus, my party isn't the best, but at least we look the part. And in the end, isn't that all that matters?

But, alas, I have no Nintendo DS, and have no money to buy one. So I'm stuck playing my Leaf Green while everyone else plays and catches new pokemon who have names I cannot pronounce even in my wildest dreams. *Sigh*
