Righting my wrongs.

Punishment is right. I have changed lately - largely for the worse. I have done things I normally would never have done. It's time to get these monkeys off my back and come clean. Amongst the list of wrongs are: betraying my friends here, the clan I lead (led when this is done), bullface lying to everyone and myself. For those on GL, I am Fatality (as most active players were aware), but furthermore, I am Omega-TeamUSA.

This brings up some speculation to myself, as I originally declined an account from Justin. I don't know what persuaded me to change my mind - a different alias within which I could learn how to freestyle competitively perhaps. All I know now is that this decision was a wrong one. Justin - I'm withdrawing from TeamUSA. Oh, and I never did play Justice for the war. Yes, I threw the game. But, I did it because I knew I shouldn't have been fighting in the war in the first place. Thanks to Cliche for wakening me to that point. I betrayed netjak.com, and many friends whose identity within TeamUSA I know, by doing this. I'm sorry. I hope you can forgive me, and in time I can earn the respect I once had.

Again, I owe many thanks to Punishment. He's shown me a light that has long been missing from my game - fun, enjoyment and trying out new things. The two games we had taught me alot and I thoroughly enjoyed them, despite an early exit in the 2nd game. Thanks for the games, and sorry for letting you down on a more personal level.

I am a turtler by trade - I have been since Day 1 - and I've hit high stat-levels just through turtling. It's now time to see where I am based on all aspects of my game. I won't make a promise I can't keep, but I'll try my damnest to play anyone and everyone. I do, however, promise to amend my wrongs, and stay true to myself. If you can't be honest with myself, you're nothing.

If you're asking me, you have nothing to apologise for. It's your game and you have the right to do what you want with it. The only thing you should have done more wisely (and still need to do more wisely) is weigh your interperatation of how you want to play this game against the way others do. Create optimal enjoyment -- for everyone.

You didnt do anything wrong, you just didnt consider your actions consequences in comparison to others, and now you will probably face them.

But that's because I have a burning hatred for needless lies.

I won't belittle your conscience. I know the feeling of getting something off your chest. I also know that you felt there was an incongruency with your true self and how you were presenting yourself here. That can cause some real angst. However, to those of us here, realize that what we see is a victimless "crime". You're still Mag, you're still a great player, and you're still fun to have around.


Now that you've said something: Enjoy TAO, no matter which account you're on. So you enjoy working on your strats without affecting your stats, and while having a measure of anonymity. It's not so bad. As a TAO celebrity I'd even call it understandable. I don't think NJ will crucify you. At least, I won't. :)

Magician, this thread wasn't really needed. Everybody already knew you threw your game with Justice, but I supposed admitting it is nice. Good luck attempting to learn to free... Though, I don't see why secondary accounts are needed for it. You often say that stats don't matter, but if they truly didn't matter to you, you would attempt to LEARN free on Magician. It's strange, and I'm probably not the only one, but I play better on my primary account than random secondaries where I am unknown.
